Dynamic Earth underground was a tour I had never done before...

Dynamic Earth underground was a tour I had never done before, but had heard of. We did the tour, which was excellent. As well, I was thrilled to observe the dismantling of the Inco Superstack, which was the second tallest chimney in the world, but is now shorter. It will be gone in 2035, so don't delay! There are museums to see in town. The town is more interesting than most. There are a few fenced leash-free parks to chose from. We visited 2 and they were fine. Difficult town for Celiac persons. Walking distance from the Super 8 hotel is Holy Guacamole, with delicious gluten-free tacos. There is a very small gluten-free bakery next to the LCBO near 135 Regional Rd 24, Greater Sudbury. It is mislabelled on Google, so find the LCBO near that address.

Sudbury is a bit run down.

Sudbury is a bit run down. It has a Subway and various restaurants to choose from, some attached to hotels, but it hasn't enough attractions that tempted us in the area. There is a nice waterfall/rapids 30 minutes drive away.

Lemon water in the lobby is a nice touch.

Lemon water in the lobby is a nice touch. Front desk clerk very kind and helpful. Being able to bring luggage straight into the room from the parking lot is a HUGE win! Great restaurant within walking distance (MIC [Made In Canada]) and if you.tell them you're staying at Comfort Inn they will give you a discount!

Well, ….we love Sudbury, having been raised here all of my life, but moved out of town late in life! Lots to do, friendly people, roads are bad but they are wherever the weather is cold! Northern Ontario roads are all bad, not just Sudbury! There is something to do in all four seasons!

Sudbury is great for meditation and relaxation if you enjoy nature, hiking, lakes and water and winter sports. There is a lot to discover there but I wouldn't advise living there or moving to Sudbury.

The roads in Sudbury are filled with pot holes, you must keep your guard up, so you won't damage your allignment. The people and restaurants are very friendly. We ate at Shoeless Joe's a couple of times,the food was very good and the staff excellent!
