Prior to this visit at La cache en Lac Champlain I attended a wedding at Chateau Venise where we stayed for 4 days. Both trips were in October. On the second trip there was road work that created some delays for us.

This is a great place for a stop over when driving to or from Montreal or Quebec City or the Laurentians to the US. It's close to the border, and the lake is beautiful. La Cache provides a truly civilized place to stay with a great restaurant, though we didn't find any other dining options.

What a beautiful little village tucked at the northern edge...
What a beautiful little village tucked at the northern edge of Lake Champlain. Greta views, great beaches, fun foods, great accommodations. If you’re an American and feeling adventurous it’s a fun spot to check out.

Only stayed one night, lovely hotel. Friendly staff and good location near the lake. Comfortable bed and very clean room.
Unfortunately restaurant not open, and pool closed for the winter.

It's a beautiful hotel, with a big room, clean. the bathroom is clean too. Nice to have a SPA and a good restaurant in the same building.
