United StatesEverything! Location, check in process, room keys, complimentary refreshments in lobby, the OWNER, he was so helpful and quick to respond to messages. Comfortable bed, the stone in the shower, view from our room; restaurant next door, same building. Their staff was friendly and helpful. My Italian is entry level in speech, better in listening and reading, German is worse. The staff was patient and we made it work and had fun! Room rate comes with a bus pass for Ticino during the stay and was easy to use. The property and surrounding area was beautiful and easy to get to hikes, bike trails etc on foot within minutes. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay here!

United KingdomLocated just next to the trail, and there's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Truly wonderful service from the staff – they made our stay so joyful. Delicious food in the restaurant. We really loved our time here and were sad to leave.

United StatesRooms are modest, but clean, cozy and welcoming. Fabulous location right on the river. Restaurant on site with good pasta and a nice, simple breakfast offering. The hosts are super kind and helpful. Also, a convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel, and we were given a bus pass for the duration of our stay. Lots of beautiful hikes to different villages leaving right from the hotel.

Such a beautiful place. The room is very comfortable and beautiful.
The host is extremely welcoming, he gave us good advises on where to go hiking. There is a little coffee/tea corner for free, which is super nice after a day outside in the mountains.
Finally, the location is perfect: you can reach beautiful hiking trails directly from the hotel. Super convenient.
We will come back !

The room was very clean and the patio was a nice place to sit and relax. You can walk out the door to a path that went all the way along the valley into Lavertezzo. The staff were very friendly at both the hotel and restaurant. They all did their best to accommodate us only speaking English. It was a short stay but wonderful.

The beautiful Verzasca valley is a fabulous setting for this great hotel. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed a great walk along the river, sunny skies, a lovely dinner and a very comfortable night’s sleep. Davide is extremely helpful and welcoming, both before and after our arrival.

Perfect location in the village of Brione, right next to the bus stop. Old house, very simple but absolutely fine as a base for a hiking holiday. Rosolino was a lovely host.
