Excellent value for money! The staff is just fantastic! I had an issue with my booking and they fixed it immediately, even though it was not the fault of the hotel. The staff at the reception is friendly and kind, upon my arrival they knew who was coming. During breakfast the waiter was also kind. The room was clean and large. Also, free parking. Cant be happier with this hotel tbh, also given it was a last-minute booking! Also, the location is fantastic- very close to Stoos.

Absolutely stunning property with lovely views in Brunnen, about 30 minutes from Lucerne. Apartment was spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals. Bed was super comfortable. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, the sauna was very tempting! We loved the town of Brunnen and the beautiful walk down to the lake. The grocery store is literally steps away, as are a multitude of restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes. Assigned parking and the elevator were real bonuses. Communication with the owners was great - we have never seen anything quite like the guest guide before! Honestly, it doesn't get any better than Luna!

This place has great facilities including cafes and restaurants. When we were not eating out the food from local supermarket was fresh and delicious.it is a safe and super clean town. The boat tip from Brunnen and Lucerne was a bonus.

It was a short stay and sadly the weather was a bit...

It was a short stay and sadly the weather was a bit miserable with low cloud over the lake so I saw very little of the scenery which apparently is stunning! I will return in the summer for another visit. We were hiking and our day quickly turned fabulous once we were above the clouds - quite the most beautiful region for winter walking.

The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding...

The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding mountains, is vey beautiful. The mountain behind is a very nice "fitness" route. The view from the top of the mountain is even better than from the hotel, amenities include boat trips through the lake, a golf course on top of the mountain and a sky station next to the town.

The hotel is very good with an amaizing view. The breakfest is very good and the minibar is free !!! They offer discounts at some attractions which are welcome 😀 The Internet is good and is worm in room. If you rent a room in 1 hour you can go in a very nice locations for ski

Not only it is a town with incredible views and endless...

Not only it is a town with incredible views and endless promenades but also people of this town are exceptionally friendly. It is a place where you can ultimately relax and enjoy also visiting sites around the riviera of the lake which due to its shape offers very various landscape sightseeing opportunities.

Brunnen is a unique and beautiful large village/small town...

Brunnen is a unique and beautiful large village/small town at the part of Lake Lucerne which becomes the Urnersee. The view to the lake presents one of the most magical views anywhere in the world. Fjord-like mountains come down to the lake at its most narrow part. Whether in brilliant sunshine or grey and misty, the view is fabulous. I have been coming to Brunnen for many decades, ever since I was a child. This particular view remains always in my memory.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s a lovely place located right in the city center, which made it easy to explore everything nearby. The hotel offers convenient parking, which was a big plus. My room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious and definitely met my expectations. Overall, a great experience — I would gladly stay here again!

Main Hotel Schmid (with green shutters in photo above) was being renovated outside so no lake views available. We were put into a separate hotel building which is the white building in the photo above to the right of Hotel Schmid. Great views. Nice receptionist gave us all the info we needed.
