The location was within walking distance from the train station 🚉 (Neiderbipp) The staff were wonderful and very helpful - especially with the language barrier. My room was very comfortable, with thoughtful little extras and everything was very clean. The breakfast options were only cold but there was a lot of choice. There was a nice atmosphere.

The hotel is perfect. It’s charming, clean and in a fabulous location between the Solothurn train station and the bridge into the Old Town. We booked two rooms for New Year’s Eve (a single for my teenaged niece) and it was the best value for money. The staff are super friendly and helpful (they made some modifications to our reservations and Daniela was super sweet at checkin and when we got cappuccinos, hot chocolate and croissants after breakfast had officially closed. They have a fabulous coffee machine available to guests next to the gorgeous area to drink and relax. Decor is very pretty! The beds are comfortable, linens are soft, and the rooms are very quiet. Super clean with great hot water and water pressure in the showers. Rooms accessible by elevator, so I will be bringing my older mom here, too. Now my favorite hotel in Solothurn (and my husband is from Solothurn and we’ve stayed in many hotels here). There is also an apartment where you can book individual rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom at great prices on this site. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return.

For us everything was okay.

For us everything was okay. - Hiking with beautiful views is possible and it direct starts at the frontdoor. - We admired every day the gracious flight of the red kite, just from the residence. - We enjoyed the outstanding food in restaurant Il Plano in Büren a/d Aare. - You have to visit Weissenstein. The beautiful view on the whole Alpine chain is incomparable. - It is nice there is a small local food shop in Günsberg. - Solothurn and Bern are attractive towns in the neighbourhood. - A visit to the St. Verena Gorge is a must-do.

The foothpath on 2 minutes walking outside the village with...

The foothpath on 2 minutes walking outside the village with view over the area was very nice. It was easy to drive up on the mountain ans take a walk on top of the Jura with view over the valleys. Visting the Weissenstein mountain was nice, and also the nice city of Solothurn.
