The only reason I am bothering to fill out this questionnaire is to praise the extreme comfort of the beds, and the fantastic shower. I have travelled A LOT, and the Borsari shower and the Borsari bed were absolutely the best I have ever encountered anywhere, ever, that I have travelled. Thank you very much and well done on a fabulous hotel experience.

The room had a fantastic view of the city and surrounding mountains. The room was well aquainted and clean, cozy, and spacious. Elevator was a nice touch as I didn't see many of those in Europe at such hotels. Restaurant served a delicious dinning experience!

Exceeded expectations. The staff, breakfast, building and location were all perhaps the nicest I have ever seen in a hostel. Staff for sure. Also building. Feels more like an expensive boutique Swiss hotel than a hostel. I think the renovations took 2 years and it shows. I wish someone told me they had FREE train tickets to Verbier (saves 30+ francs/day) and that the train station was just a five minute walk. Also, located on a very cool old street.

For those walking the Via Francigena - - an added bonus: the hotel is located in the Bourg area of Martigny, a very nice part of town with its own plaza. full of restaurants and shops and very close to the trailhead leading to Orsieres.

It is the Swiss equivalent of an English county town - it has a direct railway connection to Geneva Airport (wonderful views of the mountains and the lake from the train) - it sits where 3 spectacular valleys meet close to several top ski resorts - I found a good restaurant for dinner

A cute little town not far from Montreux (35 min by train).

A cute little town not far from Montreux (35 min by train). It is great for a weekend or to use as a base for skiing/hiking in Valais. Easy to get around directly from the train station, but still plenty of Ubers accessible. Quartier LôDzè is a great central location for dinner, a bar, a cafe, a bath, and even a hotel. I was not there long enough to explore the Roman history, so I plan on returning. Note: If you are planning on doing the St. Bernard Dog winter hike with Foundation Barry, this actually is in Champex-Lac, up the hill from Orsières. This trailhead/meeting point is about 1-1.5 hours by transit from Martigny despite the associated Barryland Museum being in Martigny.

Many different restaurants and bars to choose from and an immense amount of history to look into. There is also the most incredible museum/gallery, the Gionadda Foundation, which was brilliant and worth the trip on its own.

The hotel was very close to the station so easy to walk...

The hotel was very close to the station so easy to walk there. The staff were very helpful. I was able to walk from there to the Art museum. I have been to Martigny many times, and as I speak French I had no problems at all. there was nothing tht I would avoid.

I have stayed at numerous times at this hotel as I like its location which is only a short walk from the railway station and the town square and close to restaurants etc. I was on a self supported cycle tour and having a secure room to store my cycle overnight is important to me. I always love the Swiss duvets, very warm and comfortable.

A comfortable well located hotel close to the very pretty Martigny city centre. Staff were very helpful and there was no problem changing rooms. A separate garage was available for bicycles. Close to shops and restaurants.
