The owner of the hotel was very pleasant and super helpful. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in during our 2 weeks in Switzerland. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again!

Mels is small, nice village in the foot of the mountains on one hand, but very close, in walkable distance to Sargans. Mountain is well serviced with bus lines. It is very calm and quite in the night if this is what you search for. Ideal place if your interest is hiking in the region.

Mels is a nice sleepy place next to Sargans.

Mels is a nice sleepy place next to Sargans. It's just a 2km walk away. It is friendly and close to a starting point of the Via Alpina. There are ample restaurants; a sizeable COOP and some local stores including a nice bakery.
