Excellent price, good location (near train station), clean, practical space, good food at attached restaurant, comfortable beds, even though all bunks. It was original,too, being attached to a velodrome, which was reflected in the architecture, the decorations, the clientele and the chance to see (or ride in) an actual velodrome.

The location is amazing, its a beautiful property with neat and very well maintained rooms, and Marcus, the owner, is an exceptionally humble and cooperative person. His warm and friendly attitude made the stay experience even more pleasant. Also, good breakfast. Free parking, with the charging station for EVs.

In 20 minutes of driving from Bern city centre this hotel was at ideal location for countryside vibes. Everything was perfectly clean and comfy. Easy to use self-check in machine and free parking.

THE HOTEL in next to the famous old clock tower and in the first floor large restauant remarkable is a stone column with its date of construction, 1567, carved into the capitol !!! on the main street, delicious restaurant and wasn't as frighteningly expensive as Switzerland is known to be. A salad of asparacus with cranberry vinaigrette was delicious as was sauteed slices of veal with mushroom cream sauce !!!

Beautiful hotel right on the river. Walking distance to everything including the train station. Great staff, breakfast provided. Was a great stay. I had a lovely room on the corner with a view of the river from both windows. Easy self check in as I arrived late.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is within a walking distance from the train station and bus stops reasonably close to the hotel. They offer laundry service they fold and bring to you and it’s reasonably priced per batch rather than per item.

The hotel is perfect. It’s charming, clean and in a fabulous location between the Solothurn train station and the bridge into the Old Town. We booked two rooms for New Year’s Eve (a single for my teenaged niece) and it was the best value for money. The staff are super friendly and helpful (they made some modifications to our reservations and Daniela was super sweet at checkin and when we got cappuccinos, hot chocolate and croissants after breakfast had officially closed. They have a fabulous coffee machine available to guests next to the gorgeous area to drink and relax. Decor is very pretty! The beds are comfortable, linens are soft, and the rooms are very quiet. Super clean with great hot water and water pressure in the showers. Rooms accessible by elevator, so I will be bringing my older mom here, too. Now my favorite hotel in Solothurn (and my husband is from Solothurn and we’ve stayed in many hotels here). There is also an apartment where you can book individual rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom at great prices on this site. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return.
