Excellent property in pure nature, yet very well connected by public transport. My daughter, our dog and I all had a great and relaxing time. Hotel restaurant is also great and reasonably priced with lots of selection. Wifi was strong enough to do work conference calls.

Palagnedra is a nice base for some adventures in the Ticino...

Palagnedra is a nice base for some adventures in the Ticino area, as long as you have a car and don't mind some driving on high-quality, but winding and narrow roads. It's beautiful, and quiet, perfect for some group/family evenings, hiking and swimming in the Ticino area. The setting itself is beautiful and serene, a stroll around town, night time stargazing are all great. Downsides - no store in town as far as I know, so stock up on the way in, or during one of your outings. If the place where you are staying has no private parking, the lot near the village entry can sometimes be full, so you might have to search for a place around the village.
