The room was spacious enough for my family to sleep well (2 adults + 2 children below 12 years old)

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times in three consecutive years now and it has never disappointed. Switzerland can get really expensive really fast, but one thing you can count on is having a budget hotel to stay in and Saint Georges Hotel fits the bill perfectly. Especially Zürich as it’s one of the most expensive cities in the world. I can’t say enough good things about the man at reception who always wears a fine Swiss watch and nicely pressed shirt. Always looking professional. The lady at reception is always amazing as well. They’re both cordial and welcoming. The room is big enough for one to move around in and having a personal sink is fantastic. It’s hit and miss with me and hotel pillows, but the ones at Saint Georges I loved. A hearty breakfast for 15 CHF is offered, which is a bargain for Swiss prices. Despite the use of shared bathrooms, cleanliness is second to none. It always looks like the rooms with either the toilet or shower were just cleaned after having been used not long before. Having a room with a balcony is scenic and gives you full, deep breaths of fresh, clean air. The lobby is comfy and spacious for deciding your next move or taking a break after your last one. The hotel being near the river offers some scenic views as well.

the lady at the reception was very nice and answered all our questions . The breakfast had several varities and was very tasty. the room was spacious with an extended room , which was very nice. the location is accessible to all means of transpaortation .

A lot of facilities that help you in a daily basis, also the services was top, the location is very close to everything, you can reach the most beautiful places just walking, near to the main station.

We are happy of the kitchen provided that we can heat or cook our food. It's really fit for us as a back packers. Thank you so much for the great experiece we had in your hotel. Well recommended and we are planning to go back in your hotel if chances will be permitted again. God bless you more and more power!

Clean and friendly and location perfect to walk surrounding

We’re a family of 3 and We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was cozy and superb in every aspect. the staff were very kind and welcoming. the room was big enough and clean, not to mention the beautiful view of lake Zürich from the balcony. breakfast was fresh and diverse Room service was fast The hotel provided us everything we need for our child to make us comfortable I would definitely recommend staying at Alex Lake hotel. For me, Alex Lake will be my first choice whenever i am visiting Zürich again

The mattress was soft and large.

Beautiful historic building right on the lake front. Excellent friendly helpful staff especially Claire. Cozy lounge. Delicious restaurent where Thomas Mann, Vladamir Lenin and Carl Jung atr. Museum quality art and furnishings. Walking distance to Jung Institute and easy access to train station. Wonderful view. It is not just famous hotel, it is an experience.

Everything! The staff were very polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. And the location was fantastic!

It was a pleasure to return to this hotel: perfectly situated just steps from both tram and train stations, renovated, clean rooms and a warm, inviting lobby staffed by genuinely friendly people. The highlight is undoubtedly the generous breakfast buffet—served until 1 PM on Sundays—offering hot dishes, pastries, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, juices etc.

The view from my room and the restaurant was breathtaking. The food was exceptional, and the few saunas and a jacuzzi were more than excellent.

Lovely little guest house in the heart of Kusnacht.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted with a warm smile and a handshake to everyone in our group. Our two rooms were thoughtfully rearranged so that they were next to each other. There were too many extras to even mention; nightlight in the bathroom, robe and slippers, umbrella in the closet, refrigerator, microwave, and accessories, etc. and when we were checking out, the whole staff/family came and said goodbye. I love these people!

The location and spacious environment

Very cozy and stylish hotel, the room was spacious with all amenities, modern and cozy. The breakfast room is very nice, it feels like you are at home. The breakfast was varied and delicious, everything you need for a good start to the day. The staff were nice and friendly. We often come to Zurich to visit our daughter's family and from now on Alma Hotel will be our hotel in Zurich.

Great breakfast, great location, wonderful staff

The beautiful character, insanely comfortable beds, and easy proximity to a tram line to get into old town. We had to leave for an early flight and didn’t get to enjoy their breakfast that looked so good! Amazing boutique hotel with great customer service and we were bummed we only had one night there.

The staff is very kind. The attention to detail is remarkable. The property is very charming. The food is delicious and very traditional. The location is also excellent.
