Great location and super well run hotel. Silvia and Volkmar were incredible in every aspect of our stay. Wonderful breakfast and perfect location in Stein Am Rhein. Very efficient with self check in and day trip advice.

The owners were fantastic here, we arrived on a cold day and they straight away sat us down and gave us a hot coffee to warm up. Everyone during our stay were so nice. Really friendly place with an amazing location and view.

Breakfast was lovely! Homemade jam, delicious yogurt, fruit, bread, cheese, meats… etc. Coffee also great! The location was perfect! A short walk into amazing Stein Am Rhein, and in a quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with ideas, and any other help we needed.

It's a quaint and historic village on the Rhine river.

It's a quaint and historic village on the Rhine river. Great restaurants and coffee shop places. Good shopping. Little kids train is sometimes running and a great outdoor playground with lots of wooden climbing features. Their festivals are fantastic.

Very quaint town along the Rhein river.

Very quaint town along the Rhein river. Easy to drive to Schaffhausen and Rheinfalls. Also easy access to the boats going up and down the river. We rented eBikes at River Bike in town, and there are some great bike paths (like Stein am Rhein to Diessenhofen which goes through a forest in Germany).

Good overnight stay for cyclists along the Rhine. This budget hotel is right at the entrance to the picturesque historic Stein am Rhein altstadt, provides secure overnight storage for bikes - we counted 8 other bikes that night - and includes an early continental breakfast to get cyclists started the next day. The hostess was welcoming, the wifi was good and there was plenty of hot water. We'd stay here again.

Nice and peaceful apartment right next to the vineyards. Apartment had everything we needed. The sofa bed was big and comfortable. Stein am Rhein is a beautiful town. It was a highlight of our trip. The apartment is a short walk to the old town and the swimming area is very close.

We were thrilled to find the Hotel Adler. We could have stayed for much longer. Very welcoming hosts, delicious breakfast and a very comfortable room with a large bathroom. Recently renovated, it totally exceeded our expectations- and we look forward to returning.

Very pretty old building in great location, right on the Rhine. Very convenient for old centre of Stein am Rhein. Attractive, beamed rooms with modern bathrooms, and lots of antique artefacts in public areas.
