I had everything that I needed to stay.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable room, delicious breakfast and a restaurant nearby. Perfect location next to the University of Costa Rica. The staff were very competent and friendly. Wonderful restaurant next to the hotel. The aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful. Will be my go to hotel for San José.

We did an overnight stay in Cartago. We had a room with access to the garden area and parts of the host’s home. It was really all we needed. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The host was very warm and welcoming. She was able to arrange secured parking next door. A delicious breakfast to start the day with enjoyable conversation with her and her son. Learnt lots about Cartago and them. We were close enough to walk several blocks to the central area to eat and get a feel for the city. Although, it’s not a tourist town, it was interesting to see. The neighbourhood roads are narrow and tricky to drive through. Interesting! We kept the car parked until we were leaving. But, this is what Cartago is.

The Location is great. Nice and big rooms. Very clean. Coffee machine and fridge.

Staff was great; they’re accommodating, helpful, and sought to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was good. Hot running water in the showers. Hotel is located just off the main street so noise was minimal.

Right off the bad the staff was very friendly. The location was excellent (close to many bars and restaurants) with a great nightlife vybe. The room was very clean and the ability to park inside (to avoid tickets) was also a very good option. The local breakfast option was perfect, especially the drip coffee. Loved it.!

I enjoyed my stay very much Humble but offers everything needed for a positive experience. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful The hostel was welcoming, clean, comfortable, hot water, free breakfast. It has excellent value for San Jose. Located on one of the popular streets where locals go out.

Location was close to lots of restaurants. Very calm and safe neighborhood. No noise from the city.

Everything was so clean. We only needed the room for a couple of hours, and for the price was worth it. Not far from San José downtown

What an incredibly beautiful boutique hotel! Very close to Jade Museum, National Museum and parks a short walk (10+ minutes) to theatre and Gold Museum, markets. Lovely restaurants close by. Exceptional kindness from the front desk staff.

The staff was very attentive to me; I definitely recommend it.
