The place is calm and secluded, with beautiful views all around. The breakfast area is exceptional, and it’s a great spot for families to relax and hang out. The overall vibe feels like being in a rainforest, surrounded by stunning mountain views. The staff are friendly, informative, and very accommodating, which made the stay even better.

Brand new hotel, very environmental and social sustainable, friendly staff, surrounded by nature and convenient backyard access to the city center.

The grounds are beautiful, with birds and animals (we saw a skunk!). The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The rooms were spacious and we loved the free coffee that was provided. It’s close to the centre so you can walk to all the restaurants and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly.

Beautiful room and grounds. Close to Monte Verde and Santa Elena. Large hot tub, pool and bar where you can meet other guests. Delicious breakfast included.

Wonderful Room 20: nicely designed and decorated, very clean, large, quite comfortable beds, with a great balcony and view of the hillside. Attentive, professional staff. Breakfast was great, including the tuna omelet. Our one diner was also nice, though a bit quiet. Bar at the top had a wonderful view down to the sea. Quite steep road down/back up, but walkable to dining options to avoid driving, including into town. Bonus: staff recommended Reserva Santa Elena and made us reservations for a guided tour – cost effective and awesome!

I am fron San Jose and it always makes me happy to stay in a hotel owned and managed by locals. The hotel was very nice and we got some good tips for eating. We had a wonderful stay.

The typical breakfast was delicious and very filling. Coffee was provided in the shared kitchen and was ready very early.

There is not one bad thing I can speak of regarding our stay. The view...spectacular, the location...ideal. Our host, the BEST! We didn't want to leave. The restaurant for breakfast/dinner was superb. 10/10 all around.
