We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The communication was perfect. We really liked the setup with the kitchen and the pool. The rooms were nice and clean. Also we appreciated that we could park inside. Highly recommended to stay here.

I stayed at Faremiti, a small and charming hotel. It was my first visit, but definitely not the last. The manager is incredibly kind and helpful, and the place is full of thoughtful details with beautiful decoration. I especially loved the garden, the pool, and the jacuzzi.

Located at walking distance from Ballena National Park (where the beach is). Condos are gated and feel very private. They are very spacious, super clean and comfortable. A/C provided in both bedrooms. Private parking behind the gate is included. Exceptional customer service! Our flight was canceled and rebooked two days later. Even though we pre-booked the apartment, the staff/owner was very understanding and adjusted the booking to save us paying for those two nights. I have never experienced such a great customer service! Response via the app chat was very quickly everytime. All in all a great place to stay, would definitely recommend it!

This is absolutely amazing place to stay in! Friendly staff, close to restaurants/supermarket/bakery, parking spaces, pool, delicious buffet breakfast and not to forget the happiest happy hour with tasty margaritas! Dorm was clean, spacious, comfy beds, working A/C. Shower is both outside and inside, including hot water! Books to read, hammocks, co-working space, this place has absolutely everything you need and much more!

We loved Uvita.

We loved Uvita. You do have to check the tides as the ocean does come all the way up to the beaches, but other than that, it was my favorite beach. The whale's tail beach was fantastic, and walking out when it was low tide was great. Playa Ventanas, which is a free public beach, was also incredible.

Loved the location, and our stay was timed just right, time for waterfalls, chill out time etc. Good eateries around. Trips available to book from Tuscan. We were slightly disappointed we didn’t get to go on our whale watching tour but company acted responsibly in cancelling due to sea conditions. Just past the cemetery and down a road on the left there is a great outdoor eating and live music venue with seating and choice of eating establishments in an outdoor courtyard type place. Great tap room for craft beers on the same road as Tucan Hotel.

After having come from Samara in the north, there's no comparison I can make from anyplace we visited. Samara was the best; multiple restaurants on the beach from $ to $$$$ pricing. Only a few Uvita restaurants, only 1 was very good. On the positive side, the people of Uvita, and that goes for all of Costa Rica, are extremely polite and friendly.

Sleepy village surrounded by beautiful soft black sand...

Sleepy village surrounded by beautiful soft black sand beaches with mountainous backdrop. There is an amazing bakery and some nice restaurants - we liked Kinsu. Worth a visit for a couple of nights and a whale watching trip.

We hit the beach at the national park.

We hit the beach at the national park. Pretty much avoided the town. Walked to the whale tail from our casa. Worth the beach walk. Very good surfing beach, much of it! There were decent restaurants on the same road as our hotel. All south of Uvita proper.

I liked Uvita. We were short time and it was not good. Uvita has beautiful and clean beaches! Sunset on the beach was amazing! There are many different types of birds and animals in Marino Ballena National Park.

Really nice place, the owners and staff are really friendly and helpful, we have been travelling for a month now between nicaragua and costa rica and have stayed at a mix of places from budget to luxury and this place has by far the best kitchen and shower facilities out of the lot and is squeaky clean

Great place for visiting Uvita! Conveniently located close to restaurants and the beach, the hotel offers clean and airconditioned rooms, a private swimming pool and a washing/drying machine (which came in very handy halfway through our holiday). Communication also went smoothly. Highly recommended!

Great hotel! We had the apartment with 2 bedrooms and it was spacious! Rooms were nicely decorated, modern and clean. The pool is also a great addition. WiFi worked great. Great location not far from Uvita beach.
