In most hotels, the hotel website or the booking.com profile shows nice photos, and the reality isn't quite that nice. Hotel Olympionik is actually much nicer than the photos suggest. The location is convenient - walking distance to the train station, the bus station is next door, and it's only ten minutes on foot into the beautiful old town of Melnik. The room was spacious, with a large working desk and a clothes cabinet and a large bathroom. The design is a bit 70/80s, but everything is clean and works. Even though the hotel is on a big street, it's quiet during the night. On the back side one has a view on tennis courts and greenery behind that.

The location is good and if you like India cuisine, you get very good authentic Indian food here. The staff and the owner are awesome people.. nice to connect with them.
