Nice new/renovated hotel. Dinner and breakfast were good.

This hotel, which is around 500 years old, was very cozy. It was perfect for a stopover in a small town. The restaurant served great food, and it was really lovely to sit outside and enjoy breakfast on the back porch over looking the green garden. The old wood style of the structure gave the place a really nice atmosphere, and its location away from the main town made it very relaxing.

Breakfast was OK with the exception of overcooked fried eggs a wieners.

Beautiful private location with greenery. Excellent kitchen.

I strongly suggest it for the family with children. The bufet was with a variety of food. You have free parking and there are many places around that worth to go for a walking.

We were in Zdar for our annual visit with friends who live there. We couldn't get our preferred Airbnb so we booked at the HUL -- a place we'd noted on our previous visit. It will stay on our preferred list since it was such a positive experience on many levels. The rooms, baths, and breakfasts were very satisfactory and stress-free. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind. The lunches and dinners at the co-located Poppet were excellent ways to learn about the local cuisine. The location in the heart of the town makes it walkable to much you'd want or need in Zdar. It even has a fine long view of the Zelena Hora, Zdar's signature site.

Both the check-in and check-out were fast and simple. The staff were welcoming and helpful. My room was spatious and clean. I was very happy with the meals in the in-house restaurant. Last but not least, the hotel is located conveniently near the city centre and just across the road from a supermarket.
