We were in Zdar for our annual visit with friends who live there. We couldn't get our preferred Airbnb so we booked at the HUL -- a place we'd noted on our previous visit. It will stay on our preferred list since it was such a positive experience on many levels. The rooms, baths, and breakfasts were very satisfactory and stress-free. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind. The lunches and dinners at the co-located Poppet were excellent ways to learn about the local cuisine. The location in the heart of the town makes it walkable to much you'd want or need in Zdar. It even has a fine long view of the Zelena Hora, Zdar's signature site.

Both the check-in and check-out were fast and simple. The staff were welcoming and helpful. My room was spatious and clean. I was very happy with the meals in the in-house restaurant. Last but not least, the hotel is located conveniently near the city centre and just across the road from a supermarket.

An absolutely amazing place with a unique ambience. Great for a couple of days to wind down. We loved the room with a bathtub and a record player. The room as well as the other spaces are testefully designed and furnished. The bed was comfy and breakfast was fine. The sauna was modern and clean. We enjoyed our piece and quiet. The staff was kind, professional and forthcoming. We’re looking forward to coming back.
