The hotel is at a good location and the room was sufficiently equipped for our stay.

Nice location in proximity to ruins from the 14th century. Beautiful little town close by. Very friendly staff good breakfast and extra coffee first thing in the morning, as a pick up at the counter for no extra costs. Wonderful, really worth a visit.

Friendliest staff you could ask for. Always going above and beyond to make my stay easier. Will always book when I am in town.

It was a beautiful room, I loved the upstairs bathroom with a separate shower and gigantic tub, right in the heart of the city with a wonderful view

Beautiful restored mill/ barn along the Kahll River. Initially disappointed the beer garden was closed, but when trying to sleep, we were glad it was closed. Staff extra helpful. Quiet, restful place!

I had a fantastic stay at Fraenkischer Hof. The hotel is very well run. Constantin who doubles (or triples) as manager, receptionist and chef does an excellent job: he is wonderfully warm, friendly, helpful - went out of his way, e.g., to accommodate my vegetarian diet. The breakfast buffet he prepares every morning is amazing: fresh, healthy, varied. Way above the standard of other hotels of this price range. Speaking of: rooms are very affordable. You get great value for money. Can't find a better hotel in Alzenau. Highly recommended.

Breakfast only 5Euro but as good as for 12or 15Euro

The family put some much heart into building and restoring this beautiful property! The historical photos of their work and enjoying how beautiful and homey the hotel is today made it a very special part of our vacation.
