CanadaThis was an interesting place located in the woods above Bad Frankenhausen. It had a lot of taxidermy that was interesting to look at in the dining room. We had dinner at the Biergarten and had a pretty good meal though a bit pricey. Likely this was because this is a popular area and a spa town, We travelled by bicycle and they provided a secure place for us to store our bikes.

We ate in small hotel in the square only because our hotel meal was a set meal and we are not meat eaters. We found several restaurants but most were full as there was a music festival in the town.
Yes it is easy to walk around which was important (for elderly couples like us). We had a game of crazy golf. From what we saw it is a good and safe place for families.
The Church by the side of the hotel has an interesting history due to the fire in the village. I had left my phone in the room as the leaning tower would have made a good photo.
The panoramic museum set high on the hill top was within a 15 mins drive from the hotel. Defo worth a visit. It houses the huge painting of Bourgeois Revolution in Germany. The painting spans 14 metres by 123 metres and dates from 1976 to 1987 cant remember the name of the artist but he was from East Germany.

Tea/Coffe offer in the bar/reception area, to help oneself. Bottled water in the room. Room size, bathroom size, The high view from the front of the hotel. The Location is within an easy walk to the town, the park and surrounding walking areas.
The swimming pool, sauna etc., were excellent and available from 07.00 to 22.00 hrs. The breakfast room was well laid out with everything provided as one would expect of an hotel; super view. Good parking. Great staff.

we stayed here for a day to rest before continuing our journey and we were pleasantly surprised, this place is located in a great location in the forest five minutes by car to the thermal pools, which to our surprise were not busy at all and inside there was a very nice atmosphere in the hotel and in its vicinity it is very quiet you can relax and rest one hundred percent, very nice customer service and very very tasty homemade meals,

Excellent equipped apartment and very friendly hosts. Extremely well located at the edge of the Kyffhäuser Mountain close to the beautiful centre of Bad Frankenhausen and next to nice cycle and hiking trails. All in a region that has a lot to offer great nature, history and culture.

This was a perfect stay for us. It was lovely and peaceful and had everything that we needed. The location was just outside the village but a five minute walk and 5 minute drive to Bad Frankenhausen town Centre

This was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful breakfast buffet. Peaceful location.
