I made a last minute booking for one night and I'm so glad I did. I didn't explore the area, but the time spent in the hotel was great. Quiet after 10pm, clean, comfortable bed. Couldn't ask for more.

It was very homey. Beautifully decorated, with fantastic garden views. Waking up to the sound of songbirds each day was such a treat. And, our hosts were very generous, having left many regional specialties for us to enjoy during our stay.

The staff was very accommodating & cordial. The room was small, but clean & suited our needs nicely. There was plenty of hot water for showers. There is a bar adjacent to the property if you'd like a drink. Breakfast was plentiful & VERY good!!! A nice selection of meats, cheeses, breads, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Great coffee!

The Bitburger Brewery is the main attraction in Bitburg and...

The Bitburger Brewery is the main attraction in Bitburg and it's a great tour. You need to tell them in advance if you want an English tour but if you know a bit of German then it's fine! You get some drinks vouchers for the bar at the end and also to use in local pubs - just tell them that's what you plan to do when you arrive. After the tour we had some Birburgers in the Bitburger Bierhaus and also some food - nothing gourmet but definitely enough to fill you up! We also played golf at Bitburger Land Golf Course - nice clubhouse although the course was a bit wet in April - in a few weeks it should be great, just very hilly!

Lovely small town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Great place for a base to travel around he local area Bitburg Brewery and brewery hotel are definitely worth a visit, really lovely We travelled to Vianden, Luxemburg which was only 25-30 minutes away it a gorgeous town, walked up to the Castle then down on the chairlift, lovely lunch by the river

We arrived at 6pm, the hotel appeared to be run down and closed . The doors were locked and there were covers on the windows with a notice saying ‘being renovated’. There was no answer from the intercom, telephone or the messaging service so as it was late in the day we had to book anther hotel. They responded to my message at 7.30pm with a key code which was too late. Needless to say even though I took photos of the front they still insist that the reception was open and someone inside so charged me the full rate as a ‘no show’

Centre of town. Dedicated parking area. Staff extremely welcoming. Very helpful to my non-german speaking wife. Excellent evening meal and morning buffet. Bitburg centre was a joy to be in. Happy families and young children walking and playing until it started to get dark.

Apartment was quite big with two bedrooms but only one shower. Dinner in the evening in the beer garden (terrace) was excellent and service very good and understanding of our needs. Free car park to the rear. Breakfast was OK but on a par with most hotels.
