This is my second stay at the hotel, and I absolutely love it: spacious room, quiet green neighbourhood, great location if you're traveling from Copenhagen or your business takes you to western parts of Hamburg.

The room had everything, it was perfect in every way. It had a desk, a fridge, espresso machine, etc. Highly recommend!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful during the stay. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted fresh. The location was convenient and easy to reach.

Very comfortable, practical, and clean room. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The property is truly pet-friendly — we even found treats, a bowl, and a blanket prepared for our dog in the room.

The hotel is reallty amazing. Nice Envirovment not to far from Hamburg.

Great staff, breakfast and hotel!

Everything! Amazing room decor and comfort - we loved the sliding door to the bathroom, excellent breakfast buffet, outstanding bar (especially the staff!), convenient for travel into the city centre and for the wonderful zoo, free minibar (in return for not having the room cleaned daily).

We had a late flight, we arrived at the hotel at about 11pm. Anyway the front desk gave us a quick check in and lots of other hospitality.

The Staff was wonderful and very welcoming. They went out of their way to help out with everything I needed, and even gave recommendations about things to do.

Good value for the money. Friendly staff. Clean. It is near the airport, so I heard some planes. The style of decoration and construction seemed a bit odd to me, but was a perfectly fine place to stay for a layover.

Reception staff helpful, Many hotels across Germany have resorted to self check-in to save them money. Hotel Engel offered a helpful reception and a warm welcome

Super nice staff, we even forgot some study material of my daughters school work, the staff scanned everything and sent it across to us. This was very helpful and kind for the child.

Cheap with everything you need for a stay. Rooms were newly renovated and the beds were comfortable. You pay for what you get, dont expect anything fancy.
