Clean. Big room. Not big but good breakfast. Great location for a dog owners. Outside a lot of places to go for a walk. Closest store only 7min to drive by car

We stayed one night and the breakfast was well done. We enjoyed it.

Our stay at Hotel Waldesruh was very pleasant. The owners and staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! And bonus: The hotel is walking distance to "Vanille" French restaurant & event space located in the former train station building (https://vanille-darmstadt.de/). We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location, staff were attentive and extremely helpful with food selection as my husband has a gluten and peanut allergy, room was a good size.

It has been updated since we stayed there in 2016-lovely job! Everything was clean and comfortable. It is very close to the homes of our friends in Alsbach which makes it very convenient for visits. The breakfasts were delicious and the owner and staff were very welcoming!

We stayed here our last night before departing from Frankfurt airport, and it was perfect. The hotel is modern and clean, the service is excellent, parking is free, and breakfast is included (i.e., free). In fact, the breakfast is one of the best breakfasts we've had and a huge value to staying at the property. We highly recommend this hotel as a stopover near Frankfurt.

I loved being surrounded by nature. It was really quiet and calm. My room was really spacious and comfortable.

The owner (Maria) and room attendant (also named Maria) are both very sweet and welcoming. My memory escapes the name of the friendly young man who works as both the front desk clerk and restaurant waiter, but he was very good at both jobs. We had a couple of great meals at the restaurant with him (delicious) and grappa, too. Breakfast was always tasty in a very pleasant sun-filled room. It's true that the rooms are a little older, but they are spotless. And I'll take cleanliness over glamor any day. We stayed a couple of days and woke up rested and ready for their coffee and breakfast. I had a big Peugeot 3008 rental, which fit without problem in the underground garage. I hope we are back in that area again, and if so, we'll stay here for sure.
