The breakfast spread was incredible. Much better than anything I've ever experienced in the US, and I travel often. I wish I had arrived sooner to have dinner and to experience the sauna.

If I could give six stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. The food would earn a couple Michelin stars, the facility was exceptional and all in a beautiful setting. What really stood out was the staff. Without exception, they were earnestly friendly without the slightest hint of superficiality. After three nights we felt like part of their family. Highest recommendations!

Amazing quiet and beautiful location, staff was very friendly and had a wide variety of drinks on their terrace. It is a old hotel, but they really tried to make it more modern. The sunbeds and the free use of the sauna and swimming pool were a great plus.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. They even cooked warm food for us although we were quite late. The hospitality was genuine and heartfelt which really added to our experience. The food was excellent - delicious and authentic. On top of that, the location is perfect for exploring Black forest. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed in a chalet with two bedrooms – everything was new, spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, breakfast delivered to the room was excellent, and the pools were perfect for a relaxing dip at the end of the day.

Location was beautiful. In the base of the mountains and close the Schramberg is fantastic.

Beautiful property and lovely hosts! Rose and Ulrich made us feel so welcome and at home. The food was some of the best we’ve had on our trip through Germany and France. We loved our stay so much we extended for a second night. Thank you for such a lovely experience!!

Beautiful location in the Black Forest. Lovely room with a balcony and view. The staff were delightful and very helpful.

The Hosts were amazing and staff cleaned our room daily providing fresh linen and towels.

A family owned hotel with friendly customer service and a good buffet breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and the area is very quiet, so sleep is not interrupted by outside noise. Restaurants in the area close on Monday and Tuesday, so we had to drive to the next town to find dinner - not a big deal since we arrived by car. We would gladly stay there again.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Wonderful staff, so helpful and responsive to our questions. We got a little lost and they were quick to help us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we truly felt welcome.

The location was perfectly centered in the town, with lots of engaging history and community to learn about. Many good places to eat nearby. Katrin was a most wonderful hostess. She made it easy and comfortable.

Directly in the centrum. Walkable distance to stores, other restaurants. The food in hotel restaurant was very good.
