Everything! Very friendly staff, super clean and comfortable rooms, brand new and delicious breakfast. Also just some steps from the public transport and easy access to the centre. Nice,clean,modern....state of the art shower with jets and rain shower head. Room just perfect size for overnight stay. Receptionist was patiently waiting for our arrival. Hotel is located in small ,quiet village, parking on street for free. Church bells gently woke us up in the morning. Breakfast was excellent, everything fresh including bread,buns,pastries,fruits,.... Delicious coffee and the kitchen assistant prepared for me probably the best eggs omelet I ever had. We were VERY satisfied and will choose this hotel without any hesitation again in the future

Freiburg is beautiful.

Freiburg is beautiful. You can spend several hours at the Münster alone, stroll through the beautiful little streets and see lots of medieval architecture, and there are tons of cafés and restaurants of every thinkable cuisine. Lots of shopping, too, if that is what you are after

The cathedral and square around it are superb.

The cathedral and square around it are superb. A funicular railway to excellent restaurant Schlossberg. A nice theatre where I saw a good opera production. Unfortunately it was incredibly hot when I was there. A day to zee its sights was probably enough. If I had known the places near I would have stayed near it and gone to it for the day.Titisee lake resort is very nice.

There are so many things to do in Frieburg!

There are so many things to do in Frieburg! We really loved the mini canals (Bachle) and the market around the cathedral. The beer gardens we visited were awesome and there are more to explore. I think I could easily spend an entire week in Frieburg and still want more.

We really enjoyed our three nights in Freiburg.

We really enjoyed our three nights in Freiburg. The old town is very charming with countless shops and dining options. It is a real vibrant town and not just a tourist destination. The morning market in the cathedral plaza is wonderful and the multiple festive beer gardens were delightful. The Augustiner museum was very well presented and had many fascinating exhibits.

We visited as my son had some research to do at the archives and this hotel was between it and the city centre. Freiburg is a lovely city and we enjoyed walking everywhere. There is a cafe nearby and a grocery store a few minutes away but a bit of a walk to any restaurants. There were enough sites and walks to keep us busy for a few days and excellent public transportation.

The historic, original building is lovely. Freiburg Im Breisgau is just beautiful. The hotel is in a perfect location. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We asked to take a night time drink up to our room and this was not a problem at all. Luggage storage, nice breakfast. The room itself was very clean quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The trams stop right outside, and there is luggage storage should you need it.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is walking distance from the Freiburg Cathedral. The room was wonderful as we stayed in a two-storied suite. The lighting could have been a bit better but other than that it was excellent including having beautiful skylights in the rooms and bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic and even had a huge nutella pumping machine! Simply delightful!

This is our favourite place on our way from Danmark to Barcelona. Very kind and highly professional service, excellent breakfast and restaurant related to the hotel. A 100 meter from the hotel you can take a long and nice walk along the river Breisach to the centre of Freiburg. Hirschen is a wonderful place.

Great modern hotel in a good location, just next to Freiburg Bahnhof, and also a simple walk to the old town (and Christmas Markets). Parking beneath the hotel was easy and discounted to 18 Euros, which isn't terrible.
