I loved my balcony with a view of the Alps. It was the perfect place to have my first cup of coffee--with a kettle and coffee provided. I don't know why other reviewers complained about the reception staff. Both women I dealt with were excellent. The restaurant next door had great food, and there too the staff were very friendly. I came to Penzberg to go to the very good art museum. If I had more to do there, I would have stayed at the hotel longer.

Recently renovated Kloster, very well done. Historical artifacts, paintings, furniture, the grand church etc. are available to see throughout the day. It was like staying in a museum but with modern facilities and comfort! Breakfasts were very well done.

The bedroom and the breakfast room were beautiful. The room was very quiet, a sunny balcony, airy and spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Parking is more than abundant.

Lovely and spacious apartment. Quiet. Nice view. Kitchen very well equipped. Whatever else we needed the host quickly provided. I appreciated that salt and pepper and oil was available.

Beautiful classic Barvarian Alps hotel in spectacular setting, up on a hill with views across the fields to the mountains. Breakfast was very good. Had dinner one night and was excellent. There is also a very nice outdoor beer garden serving food with the same beautiful views. Room was comfortable. Hotel is outside of Penzberg in the countryside so is very peaceful and relaxing.

Very nice hotel in the Bayern country side. Stunning view from the porch outside the dining area. Comfortable room. Great breakfast with a lot of options available, cold and warm, they prepare eggs on request. We also had a fine dinner in the local restaurant.

Nice family hotel, big room, rich and tasty breakfast. The hotel has an atmosphere and a style, so even a short break allows to enjoy it. We loved the Xmas decorations (we stayed between Xmas an NY), when even napkins in the restaurant were on matching theme.
