We were travelling and found this place to stay one night also based on acceptable price. Later couple weeks it became very high... maybe it was reason behind. Hotel located in very good place with a lot of routes for walking, bicycling, hiking, etc. A lot attractive places around and very near Salzburg (by car). We had family room for 4 people and everything was settled before our arriving with very clear communication, even despite our very late arrival. Clean, quite. We had included breakfast, which was very quality and a lot of different staff were available with fruits and vegetables, for any age. View on mountains from terrace is amazing - you can spent there full day to chill :). I strongly recommend to visit this location with this hotel. As we realized by driving next day in the morning, it is very known place with a lot of very attractive different locations and sights. Hope next time we will be able to visit we will be able to capture relevant and acceptable price again ;)

Loved the charming room and spectacular view!

I loved this hotel almost from the first minute. I was met by Heike Haertinger who was amazingly pleasant and friendly. She escorted me to the breakfast room, showed me my table and informed when breakfast would be. The buffet was among the best I've had in Germany if not the best. I will definitely be going back and hopefully with friends next time.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel decor was amazing and they provided so many lovely unexpected touches - cozy seating areas on the front porch, self service beverages (wine, beer etc), mats for shoes outside rooms for wet boots etc, offering to carry our luggage upstairs. And the breakfast buffet offered more than I expected - wurstsalat and so much more. I wish we were staying longer than 1 night! Also, the location was great - easy to walk all around town.

The staff was very responsive and even though they didn’t be speak English well and my German is horrendous, we communicated easily. The location was central and quiet. Although the facility is older, it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the nearby hiking (in Reit im Winkl) was just lovely for morning walks!

Everything was amazing. The room was nice, and to be honest, just a room, But the location and all of the amenities were out of this world. I had to double check how much I was paying for the night, because it seemed like I could not be getting so much for the rate. I have recommended this to my friends and family and will keep doing so with anyone I come across when talking about traveling.
