The hotel is just at the side of the Chiemsee lake, the view, the location, the park are fantastic. You get this feeling of a classy hotel in magnificent surroundings. It has a private swimming house on a pierce, where you can change and just enjoy the lake. Breakfast -esthetic and meeting every expectation. We were sad to leave, will definitely stay there again. Comfy beds, soundproof walls, very welcoming staff.

Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

Our stay at AlpinaRos was lovely, such an amazing view from outside the room and breakfast area. The staff were incredible. We didn't realise the room didn't have a fridge but we were able to keep our small cold goods at the front desk fridge. The breakfast was superb, best breakfast we had during our one month holiday in Europe. Parking was great for our rental car, and short walk to the main area of town. The view was just sublime. Room was comfy, slight dated but totally fine. Really welcoming staff and we appreciate the high level of kindness and support.

Everything was absolutely wonderful from the reception to the checkout. The room and the view were breathtaking, and the hotel’s location is right in the heart of nature. The restaurant was incredibly delicious, and all the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing — everything was homemade. The hotel’s restaurant deserves a 10/10. I highly recommend it for relaxation and rejuvenation. I’m so happy I stayed here:)

We loved the design and ambience. The building was mostly made of sauna wood that gave off soothing scent and texture. Very organic feeling. Every corner seems to contain thoughtful design and aesthetics. The outdoor heated pool with view of churches and Zugspitze was breath-taking. Exactly like photos and better. The fire suite was very cozy with luxurious interiors, dining areas, bar & stools, 2-basin wash areas with rain shower and extra large bath tub for 2, veranda with view of Kurpark, and a modernized fireplace.

Spacious and clean room with very comfortable mattresses, excelent food (great respect to the cooks who prepared the dinner), wellness area with an amazing view, infinity pool, and last but not least professional and helpful stuff. We also payed attention to the little details that really made the hotel special, such as the design or cosmetics and scents used in the sauna.

First of all, it’s very beautiful. The hotel consist out of five buildings each building in a different style. Very tasty. Interior decoration stunning spa area and a very good restaurant. For active recreation during the summer months I can hardly...

For active recreation during the summer months I can hardly imagine any better place. The city lies inbetween mountains, so you can start yout hike right away from the apartment, but if you have a further peak in mind, it is also well connected enough with public transport. Also we have got a guest card at the hotel, so we could move inside Berchtesgadener Land free of chsrge. There are multiple excellent via ferrata routes nearby, which makes it a great choice if you are a fan of this sport. The city itself is also beatiful with rich history, and nice old town and cozy restaurants. I would deffinitely recommend and return at a later time (Coming for you, Watzmann!)

Beautiful spa park, wonderful pedestrian zone in the center with mini water canals and a fountain. Clean and pleasant. If you use the P+R parking lot, don't forget to bring a parking sticker, otherwise you will get a 20 euro fine.

Mittenwald is about 1.5 hours from Munich airport and close...

Mittenwald is about 1.5 hours from Munich airport and close to the Austrian border. It's position is perfect for mountain hiking in both the Karwendel and Wendelstein ranges. It's far less crowded than Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I did two major day hikes in late June in fairly hot weather (32C in the town). There are at least 4-5 full-day hikes that start within easy reach of the hotel. If you don't want Bavarian cuisine every night, there are plenty of alternative restaurants and even in June booking didn't seem necessary.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had an excellent experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel’s facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future.

A picturesque town surrounded by stunning landscapes, offering excellent hiking trails right from your doorstep. In the town center, you'll find a variety of amenities, including supermarkets, medical facilities, bakeries, and restaurants. We also visited Lidl and Rewe to stock up on groceries. Additionally, there is a DM drugstore nearby for personal care needs. Just keep in mind everything closes soon. Only REWE and LIDL and DM were up to 8 pm.

Inzell is beautiful, lovely views, restaurants, cafes and activities to do. The chiemgau karte is the reason we can back. We hired bikes, played crazy golf, painted pottery, adventure golf, tyre sliding, indoor & outdoor pools, chair lifts, the buses, trains etc all on the card for free. We were then able to buy drinks/ snacks/ dinners at all the venues. It was fantastic. Ban Thai restaurant, Kreinburg, salvatone, vroni & lindl brauer restaurants were all very tasty. More buses on a Sunday would be better.

Ruhpolding is an excellent location for walks, with beautiful scenery in every direction. There are many attractions such as chairlifts, swimming pool, crazy golf etc ,some of which are free of charge with the Visitor Card. Also, bus and local train services are free of charge. We have been to Ruhpolding 15 times and and have enjoyed every holiday even when the weather has not been very favourable.

Bad Tolz is a magical place. There is so much beauty.

Bad Tolz is a magical place. There is so much beauty. Walking the river was very calming and I really liked that local families were out enjoying themselves. There appeared to be many wonderful restaurants, just by peeking inside and looking at menus. If you want a true Bavarian experience, I highly recommend Bad Tolz.
