Luxury hotel by our standards. Corner room, quite fancy.

Location and ambience. Perfect location with views into the main square. Full service restaurant and buffet breakfast. Host went over and above to help us and speaks at least 3 languages. He drove our luggage down to the barge where we were starting a bike and barge trip. He would not take any payment for doing so. We would stay here again in a heart beat. ❤️

The castle and the grounds are stunning. Beautiful surroundings as well, with the cozy main street of Mettlach just a 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are very pretty (we had a suite, and the bathroom was like on a magazine cover), and you can enjoy a very stylish breakfast on lovely V&B porcelains. A truly chateau stay!

Check-in and check-out were wonderful. Owner very accommodating to my schedule. Breakfast was great. Nice buffet, eggs to order, great waitstaff. Dinner on the patio at the restaurant was hard to beat. Great food and great waitstaff. Location was perfect. Close to the Leukbach, but not next to the church bells. Parking was easy. Just 50 meters up the street.

The breakfast and dinner were both fantastic. They were able to accommodate our gluten free diet.

Incredibly friendly staff, beautiful location set next to the river Saar and the bike path next to the river. Walking distance from Saarburg. A very comfortable room, lovely dinner and breakfast. Absolutely recommended.

Extremely good location. Friendly staff. Large flat located at most 20 m from the main hotel lobby. Parking. Very good supermarket in another 100 m . Spent a wonderful week there
