This is a perfect small hotel with a fantastic restaurant and staff.

I would have preferred a fried egg(s) for breakfast - I did not ask (for a fried egg) mainly as I approach such a matter with a counter-thought, it was not offered, so that settles that. I am not altogether keen on boiled or scrambled eggs. The bed was very, very comfortable and fully accommodated my height. There is in my opinion a lack of double power-points (next to the night-lockers) in the bedroom to comfortably keep our two mobile phones loaded to the maximum. In each case the available power-point was connected to the bedside lamp, so unplugging needed to take place.

The whole hotel was immaculate and beautifully decorated. There's a sunlit breakfast room (windows on 3 sides) for the excellent breakfast. The outdoor terrace overlooking the Mosel River was lovely; and offers delicious cakes and pizza for purchase in the afternoon. This is a family-owned hotel that is carefully maintained and operated with love and pride. Great Location: we enjoyed walking the narrow back streets of Ediger-Eller, admiring traditional buildings with grape vine arbors and charming, uniquely decorated doorways. We also had a beautiful day hike in the forest and vineyards above the town. There is a bus stop near the hotel for transportation to other villages.

The property was within easy walking distance of the train station and very close to the centre of the town and walking areas. We arrived late so very clear instructions were left for us on how to get inside & find our room. The bedroom linen was very nice as were the lively soft pillows. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus

Clean room. Helpful and (very) kind staff, the owner helped us himself brought big luggage to the third floor which he gave us a free upgrade !!! It was a wonderful view with Mosel river and Cochem Castle, couldn’t ask for more. Good breakfast (which included in the room price) absolutely recommended !

The breakfast was nice with several choices at the buffet. The location of the hotel was good, within walking distance of the city center and the Mosel River. The staff was friendly and courteous. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 in the evening and the owner/manager was waiting for us. He helped us take our luggage up to our room and we appreciated that.

A great, cozy family-owned pension very close to the center of town and close to the train station ( about 10 min walk). The owners are kind and the breakfast is hearty. Make sure to have a meal there at the restaurant for dinner. The atnpdipger is nice and the food is delicious. It is suggested to make a reservation since it’s a popular place for dinner or go super early.
