Beautiful location and a good German restaurant. The chef was very nice! Parking was available with pre-arrangement.

We had breakfast included but upon arrival we learned that it was a mistake from booking.com. We woukd have to pay extra for breakfast.

Plenty of space for our family and kid friendly with games, water and tea available in the hallways. Breakfast was delicious.

The owners were very caring, helpful and supportive. Asked numerous times if we needed anything. Location is fantastic. Easy access to hiking trails, mountain biking, Switzerland and France.

A family-run hotel with soul. Super clean. Great breakfast with lot's of cold cut and cheese options, proper coffee from an espresso machine. Location perfect for exploring southern Schwarzwald. There's a Rewe and Rossmann within walking distance. A 24/7 self-service gas station is a couple of minutes away by car. Staff is very friendly and Alexander had lots of great tips about what to see around which turned out to be very helpful!

The hotel was quite good, renovated recently - it is atmospheric and nice. Everybody is nice and friendly. On check out we were given apples and bottled water. Strong shower, good breakfast and dinner booked in advance is a combination that make it a perfect stay after a long road. Bonus: Tivoli radio box in the room.

It was quiet and remote but not isolated. Each room has its own patio or balcony. There are three different hotel houses that are apart of the hotel. Each “house” has a nice common room separated by a door to the guest rooms. The staff was really nice and had no problem when we wanted to extend the trip a second day. They spent time letting us know what areas to explore and we actually went to two of their recommendations in one day. The hotel also has private parking but would assume in the on season you may have to reserve it. I absolutely would come back and would recommend to friends. If you are a coffee lover they also include gourmet coffee instead of your normal Keurig Costco brand. They have a super sweet black cat named Nala on property too!

Comfortable, clean, spacious room with an equipped kitchen for basic meals, big balcony with an amazing view, friendly welcoming staff. The breakfast buffet is variated. The hotel is inside the beautiful black forest and wherever you look you see green landscape.

What a quaint wonderful hotel. Excellent customer service and everyone was extremely friendly, even the guests. Everyone we passed said hello to us. The breakfast was delicious and perfect before we went skiing. The room was quiet and we slept well. This is a quality hotel in a great location.

Everything about the Gasthof Belchenblick is exceptional. The owner Briggeta is a welcoming and constant presence and the place is spotless. the room was large and well-designed with a balcony and beautiful views and the breakfast was hearty and plentiful. I stayed for four nights and explored the surrounding Black Forest and the property is well-situated to take advantage of so much in the area. I also ate at the restaurant two evenings and it was exceptional food including locally sourced in-season selections that were a treat. Such a lovely and welcoming place!
