We got an extremely friendly welcome from the owner and were surprised how exquisite the interior of the hotel had been remodelled - everythig was clean and new. Well, surprise, the hotel was built from scratch not long ago using old materials and building methods. The breakfast was Germany great, including a "pfannkuche", which would translate to pancake, but really was more like a crepe. The goodbye was even more friendly than the welcome. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was amazing, the accommodations are the best part, I stayed on a small room in the shape of a wood barrel, the bed was couple length with double single mattress, there is a small entrance before the bed, and can sit four persons two each side, a table come from under the bed and it's foldable, there is a small door under the table, I used to store my bags, there is two electricity plugs, and the most important, the view, the place is amazing, the bathroom is 40 meters away, there is place to play basketball, football, some things for kids, a beautiful natural lake right in front of the barrels, I would live there with my eyes closed.

Breakfast lady was very kind and feeling was like we are in restaurant.

The breakfast room was wonderful. The food offerings were excellent by American standards, but just a little less than we experienced at other German properties on our trip. Freshness was the only detractor.

Too many steps to our room on the third floor. I understand the reason for no elevator---the reason is my age and the difficulty in climbing stairs. Loved the facilities and the great restaurant. David Stevens
