I would say the resort of Costa De Antigua is a bit run down...

I would say the resort of Costa De Antigua is a bit run down without a great deal to do. Three slightly ropey bars , The Crazy Goat , Stoners , and Volvemead all in a row , Bennys sports bar and a couple of restaurants a bit further down. I can recommend Min Sun on the corner however. Quite a lot of broken glass , rubbish , tracts of land for sale and unfinished buildings. If going self catering the nearest supermarkets are around a mile away entailing a walk across the rocky landscape and then thru an industrial estate. A car is a must unless you’re relatively fit I feel. Costa De Antigua doesn’t have its own usable beaches The 2 mile walk to the livelier Caleta De Fuste and it’s beach , is pleasant once past the crumbling and abandoned water park. I’d recommend Costa De Antigua as a base only , and either hire a car or take taxis - which I believe are €4/5 to the nearest life

Close to airport on €15 in taxi Great walk along the coastal path to town to lovely town Close to apartment are many bars and many restaurants all make you feel welcome stoners bar lovely food and always busy x bennys bar is awesome for breakfast and found a lovely little bar Mina Sun wish we had found this sooner very nice indeed Give this place a go it is one of my favourite places

Not stayed in CDF for few years, been favouring Corralejo. Thought we’d mix it up this year. Beach towards Sheraton is lovely. CDF is looking very run down, lots of run down hotels, closed bars. Looking very neglected.

Ideal place for some warmth and sun and a good place to relax. Close to Caleta de fuste if you want to find a few more things to do such as beach, marina, shops and restuarants. Would probably suit more mature people than younger folk as there is not much to do in the actaul resort other than eat and drink, however Caleta de fuste is only a 5 minute drive away or 25 minute slow walk and that area offers more for families and younger couples/singles.

away from noise, nice quite location great bus service, and five mins in car ten by bus to biggest supermarkets on island, no rip off prices ,you pay same as locals all fresh fantastic fresh seafood, just fifteen mins to airport Caleta de fuste fantastic beach sunbeds ,safe for children all sand great restraurants on beach , one of the best seafood restraurants excuse spelling, Caleta de fuste only five miles from Costa de Antigua . Airport only five miles, Car hire Autorisen best on island and cheapest , no insurance excess , everything included great cars , we parked at supermarket mentioned, on return from shopping car had been hit by another car and damaged ,no sign of other car some dishonest xxxx but no problem all covered ,Autorisen does what is says no nasty bills all covered in price fantastic service.Dont be afraid to hire car , unlike uk, roads are fantastic no potholes, great signs, cheap fuel ,very little traffic once away from airport,in fact not that busy at all even near airport, plus best beaches in world spoilt for choice.And one more thing for smokers of the green stuff ,it is available at club 44 Caleta de fuste a private club authorised by Spanish Law

It’s mainly residential with two hotels and some holiday...

It’s mainly residential with two hotels and some holiday accommodation with some bars and restaurants. No direct access to a beach and although the coastal path is easily accessible and takes you in Caleta de Fuste, it’s a 20-30 minute walk. We love it as a base and like to come back in the evenings to Stoners Irish Bar where there’s always a warm welcome no matter how old you are or where you’re from

Lovely clean apartment. Had everything we needed for our 2 week holiday including chairs and umbrella for using on the beach. Javier was fantastic. He was in contact with us from booking through to a video on arrival showing us how to get into the apartment etc. A welcome pack was requested by us and provided (additional fee) as we arrived late in the being. This was greatly appreciated. Excellent service.

The apartment was lovely and really clean and had a washing machine. The apartment was modern with lovely decor. The host was amazing so kind and thoughtful. Brought us beach towels and chocolate for the kids. Let us stay in the apartment all day before we left due to the pool being closed for 3 days which wasn’t any of their doing.

Lovely villa in a good location. Walking distance to a superb restaurant, Algo Mas. Walking distance to grocery store and beach. Lovely pool and outdoor space and barbeque area.
