This was the most amazing place we have stayed on the Camino. The property is stunning! Petra our host made us feel at home. She cooked the most delicious 3 course dinner and amazing breakfast. We could relax on the deck chairs and look at the stunning scenery with a glass of wine! All the luxurious touches from the linen sheets to shower products and decor just added to our amazing stay. You MUST stay here. We loved it so much.

Finca Esencial is a beautifully renovated property right on the Camino de Santiago that has thought of every possible detail to provide a most pleasant experience, beautiful rooms that feature both the properties stone walls and wooden windows combined with state of the area bathrooms and amenities. Views of the countryside and vineyards can be appreciated in every room. Roland and Raquel are a gem, perfect hosts of the upmost kindness, while doing the Camino we experienced a knee issue that prevented us from arriving on foot like originally planned, Roland picked us up from the nearby town and also helped us get closer to town for our meals. And the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Roland and Raquel for giving us such a wonderful experience that will become cherished memories.

Lovely people, beautiful location. Relaxing on the terrace beside the River was an unexpected bonus. Local restaurant was excellent.

Plaza Mayor is set in the main square of the Medieval town of Villafranca de Bierzo, in the town center. It offers functional rooms with free WiFi and a Smart TV in all rooms.
