The bedrooms are excellent. Very simply decorated with a balcony and lots of natural light and a well-appointed bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable. In addition there’s an excellent breakfast available from 7pm, which is helpful for walkers. They also provide an very good 3-course evening meal for €18. Laundry is available too. A very peaceful and restful place to stay.

The pictures don't do this apartment justice! Everything is brand-new, high class, functional and very well thought through. There was enough food for an afternoon tea or breakfast, including fruit, pastries, and various coffees from the coffee machine. We were able to store our bikes, and we had weren't just able to wash, but also hang up our clothes because there was a clothes rack in the laundry room in the apartment.All appliances are new and high-end, and the place was sparkling clean. It also was easily enough space for our group of five, we wouldn't even have had to use the sofa bed. We were able to store our bikes for the night, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, over and above. All in all, we would give more stars if we could - this place is amazing! We might even stay there if we go to Santiago again.

Gallaecia is perfectly located right in the heart of Arzúa, making everything easily accessible while still offering a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place had been prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail. The apartment is spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, and three very comfortable bedrooms, making it ideal for both short and longer stays. The layout is functional yet elegant, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged for guest comfort. One of the highlights of the property is the two balconies—one facing the front and one at the back—which provide great natural light and a wonderful sense of openness. They are perfect spots to relax, enjoy fresh air, and take in the surroundings. What truly made this stay special was the Christmas decoration. The host went above and beyond to create a warm, festive, and welcoming environment. The holiday décor added a magical touch that made the apartment feel cozy, inviting, and full of character. It felt less like a rental and more like a home. Overall, this was an exceptional experience in every sense. Beautiful, comfortable, perfectly located, and thoughtfully decorated—Gallaecia exceeded all expectations. The surroundings are beautiful. The owners are very accommodating. The room and bathroom were exceeding spacious. The entire casa was warm and comfortable. We were walking the Camino with a husband driver, but pickup and drop off from Arzua was offered. I highly recommend staying here whatever your reasons for being in this area.
