Loved the completely peaceful setting - quiet and views of the Picos from my window. Also, the pool is simple yet perfect - and again, with mountain views. The family who runs (and owns?) the hotel is so friendly and warm. If your plan is Fuente De, book here at Jisu! Fuente De looks barren except for the cable car.

This was a great stay! I was greeted by Sofia, the receptionist, who was extremely kind and helpful. She checked me in with no problem and gave me some excellent dinner recommendations. My room and bathroom were clean, well stocked, and comfortable. It was dark, private, and perfectly quiet in my room at night. I didn’t stay for breakfast, but the dining area looked very cute. My only regret is not staying there longer!

Quiet, small guest house in a residential neighborhood just outside bustling Potes in the Picos de Europa. The host, Laura, was friendly and gracious. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Nice garden with outdoor furniture and view of the mountain peaks.

Ben, the owner, texted us before we arrived to arrange the check-in in case he wasn't there. He even sent us a video of how to find our bedroom key and the carpark. It was really useful! He wasn't always available in the reception, but he was always available on the phone/whatsapp. The bedroom was simple but clean and comfortable, and the views were stunning. Even though our bedroom was right over the main entrance to the hotel, it wasn't noisy.

Dany the host is exceptional! He was very attentive and the breakfast and dinner he prepared was very delicious, highly recommenced! The hotel is located 10 minutes by car away from Potes in a rural house in a small village, where it is very quiet. You also have a nice view to the mountains. The room is very clean and comfy.

This was by far the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying at in all my years of travel. I intend to come back to this area to visit Potes, Spain and Santo Toribio de Liebana Monastery, and when I do, I intend to stay at La Casona de Baro. The host is also a very good and hospitable man.

Everything was great. Location, cleanliness, confortable bed. Worth of mention was the friendliness of the owner and the way he communicated at all times. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend La Casona de Baró.
