We wanted to base ourselves in the countryside for exploring but not be too isolated and this apartment was perfect. Communication with the host and arrival logistics were easy and smooth. Boimorto is a lovely little town in a beautiful area. There is a grocery store, cafes, at least two restaurants (though we cooked at home), a post office, and a few shops. Easy driving connections to other spots in the region, but you will need a car if going beyond town. The apartment was very well-appointed, comfortable, quiet, and cozy. We were sad to leave. We were just two but there is plenty of space for a large group. It was too rainy in winter to enjoy the back patio. We would definitely book again when in the area.

Stay: December 19–20 Property: Gallaecia – Arzúa Absolutely outstanding stay—truly beyond expectations. Gallaecia is perfectly located right in the heart of Arzúa, making everything easily accessible while still offering a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place had been prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail. The apartment is spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, and three very comfortable bedrooms, making it ideal for both short and longer stays. The layout is functional yet elegant, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged for guest comfort. One of the highlights of the property is the two balconies—one facing the front and one at the back—which provide great natural light and a wonderful sense of openness. They are perfect spots to relax, enjoy fresh air, and take in the surroundings. What truly made this stay special was the Christmas decoration. The host went above and beyond to create a warm, festive, and welcoming environment. The holiday décor added a magical touch that made the apartment feel cozy, inviting, and full of character. It felt less like a rental and more like a home. Overall, this was an exceptional experience in every sense. Beautiful, comfortable, perfectly located, and thoughtfully decorated—Gallaecia exceeded all expectations.
