The apartment was very spacious and had all sorts of useful items, the kitchen was full of various tools for cooking, the bathroom was comfortable and even had a bidet, the main bedroom, bathroom and extra bedroom had windows to the inner courtyard, so the rooms could be aired and no sound from the street would come.

Absulutely amazing location in the Buenavista in north west of tenerife. Very clean, great kitchen facilities. Comfy beds. The neighborhood is totaly quiet at night. In the outside it has got a nice huge private yard for barbeque and private jacuzi, so absolutely great chill out zone for family picnicking. Surrounding area is just perfect for both long and short hiking trips. The host is very responsive. They own multiple other properties in Buenavista. I had a chance to stay in a couple of their houses, both are maintained to high quality standards. Definitely going back next time

The town itself is small but has everything you need for a week’s stay, with a handful of restaurants, some local shops, and a relaxed, non-touristy feel. It’s generally quiet and has a lovely central square where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere. Everything in town is within walking distance, including the beach, which makes it very convenient. One of the main attractions people mention is the lighthouse. Be aware that access is restricted, so you’ll need to take the hourly bus service there and back rather than driving up. During our visit in September 2025, the town was unfortunately plagued by flies, which became a bit of a nuisance, though this was likely made worse by the unusually hot and humid weather at the time. Overall, it’s a charming and peaceful place to spend time, offering a more authentic local feel than the bigger resort towns.

5 star hotel facilities and accommodation, lovely spa.

5 star hotel facilities and accommodation, lovely spa. Spotlessly clean. Very attentive and friendly staff, we wanted for morning. Chilled from the moment we arrived. Lots of small kind touches, free snacks in lobby, welcome drinks, free shuttle service to the semi private rock pool. It was just a wow!! Our second visit and it’s one of the best I’ve ever stayed in.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff team were so friendly and helpful especially Ixstha at the pool bar who greeted us every day with a friendly hola. We have stayed at many hotels over the years and this is definitely one of the best. We enjoyed the live music in the courtyard at the weekend evenings, the wonderful food, relaxing atmosphere and how peaceful and quiet the hotel was. We have come back to the UK rested and relaxed.

This is a hotel for golfers, if you’re not a golfer or have not rented a car, there is very little to do , the hotel is isolated in the middle of nowhere. Having said that it is a beautiful hotel with lovely views. My wife being coeliac requires gluten free food, the chefs bent over backwards to make sure she hade the food of her choice. The staff made sure we wanted for nothing, our suit was kept beautifully clean, with an evening turn down service. Being in our late seventies we enjoyed a relaxing chilled out holiday, Tenerife was the third of our island tours and this was certainly the best hotel we stayed in and a big thank you to Lucuia and Carmen in the spar who helped my wife out so much, you are both wonderful ladies.

A quiet, authentic place with some restaurants around the main square and a few groceries. Ideally located for walks in the near southwest and further in the northeast. The buses (main station) have good connections to villages all around. There is a nice 18 hole golf court right by the sea.

We really liked this town.

We really liked this town. It was much more 'local' than for example 'Garachico'. Obviously there are plenty of tourists everywhere in Tenerife but this town was not completely taken over by the industry ...

I love the patio and the kitchen (open for the patio). There were hammock and few tables to eat breakfast or just chill. The localication is great. In the center of Buenavista del Norte,not so short but nice distance walking from the ocean. I have window to patio (room number three), so i was quite. Common kitchen is fully equipment even with tea, olive oil etc. There was a washing machine also and place to dry clothes. The shared bathroom was very clean and comfortable. I like the athompshere of the small city.

Gorgeous setting and design. Spacious, beautiful and comfortable sea view suite. The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. The setup of the sunbeds around the hotel is done in a way that even if the place is crowded (NYE) if feels intimate. Great for golfing, spa and lazing around doing absolutely nothing. Very clean too. The morning and evening buffet were absolutely stellar.

Really nice location in a banana town plantation. In the north of Tenerife, far away from the most tourist attractions. Possibility to have sauna available for one hour per day. We stayed in apartment 1 and we had a nice view of the ocean and the plantation from both the room, bathroom and balcony. The apartment was very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a week’s holiday. The terrace overlooking the banana plantations was a great place to relax. The location is perfect for exploring the north-west of Tenerife, but I would definitely recommend having a car.
