The breakfast was great! So much variety. And delicious. I also enjoyed the tapas restaurant. Everyone needs a mid-day cubata! And the staff at the front desk was incredibly genial. Thanks so much for the care and attention.

Unique style, pleasant services with very uncommon way of communication. A place with soul and historyn, rather being received as a luxury old house than hotel. Great breakfast, and kitchen for guests with all appliances.

Carmona is beautiful .

Carmona is beautiful . With several restaurants, bars and stunning medieval streets and churches. It also has the benefit of being able to get a bus into the centre of Seville. We much preferred staying in Carmona rather than Seville and it's cheaper.

We loved the celebrations of Semana Santa in a much more intimate setting. The energy of Carmona was warm and inviting. The locals were very kind and helpful, but the highlight for us was staying at the Convento de Madre De Dios. Just perfect.

Stayed at the top of the old hill town but made full use of the more modern section at the foot of the hill. Great place to walk around at any time of the day with some stunning architecture. Some streets a really tight squeeze for driving but overall a delightful place. Convenient, too for trips into Seville by car or by train from Brenes.

This is an interesting little town.

This is an interesting little town. There's a lot of history to learn so take a guided walking tour. It'll only cost you 1 euro. The food at the parador was delicious. Caveat Emptor, the bar Bar Goya served us a ration of Spanish tortilla and charged us 10 euros, it usually costs less than 3 euros anywhere else.

A very interesting old town and plenty to look at for a day or two. The streets are very narrow, many too narrow for cars but those that are wide enough have too many cars going along them - not compatible with pedestrians! Pedestrians also have to contend with lots of animal (dog) faeces left lying around, despite signs everywhere saying it is is an offence not to clear up after you animal.

A small, very walkable town.

A small, very walkable town. Great views from the town walls across the region. Huge amount of history (5000 years of continuous habitation) and a truly excellent town museum that makes sense of that history. The Roman cemetery is astonishing both for its scale and its quality - and is free to visit. We stayed in the town on a Friday evening and were disappointed by the lack of night-life bars/cafes/bistros, although this may just be because we were there on a cold April day.

Carmona is a beautiful, cozy and very clean city. We choose to stay here due to the vicinity to Sevilla on our Andalucía round trip. At the end we decided to explore Carmona as well and spend a little bit less time in Sevilla, which is of course amazing. The inhabitants of Carmona including the landlord were very friendly and helpful. Being tourists we try everywhere to feel and act like locals, which was here one of the easiest thing. The apartment was well equipped, great coffee and muffins surprised us in the kitchen.

Very nice, modern and stylish apartment, super clean, on a ground floor which is an added value. It's a studio but a very large and comfortable one and everything was functioning perfectly. Our host Jose Maria met us in front of the garage, to show us the parking (very convenient to have in Spain), and then explained everything regarding the apartment and garage. It has a basically equipped kitchen for cooking a small meal or prepare a breakfast, but not much more. It was perfect for us, because it was on our way.

So much to say about this exceptional oasis of tranquility and genuine Spanish hospitality that after many many years of independent travel with my wife, we find lost for words to describe our kind host and her family who made this special occasion and first time in wonderful Carmona a memory to last forever. All we can say is....Gracias Pilar and hope to visit you again one day !
