This hotel was perfect: it's in a beautiful central (but quiet) neighbourhood, it's new and clean, and the staff was super nice and helpful - it was there whenever we needed it. They let us leave out stuff there after the check out. They even had tea, snacks and fresh fruit from their trees for anyone to take, and pads in the public toilet! Would definitely recommend.

Everything. It was one of the most beautiful coastlines of Spain. The beds were comfy, the shower and bath wonderful and the staff so kind. They run a cafeteria as well and the food was great. Felt like we were getting home cooked meals. Alucia was incredibly helpful with directions to Gijon and where the best sites and typical food would be. We loved it and would come back again if ever in this part of the world.

Lovely hotel. Near Playa de la Nora and close to Gijon. Exceeded our expectations and just what we needed towards the end of our trip. Clean comfortable rooms, big spacious gym, restaurant was delicious. Staff are warm & welcoming. Wish we stayed longer.

The owners were wonderful, nice and helpful, we felt at home. The place is quiet and idyllic, in nature, perfect to rest. The breakfast was great and plentiful, home made each morning by the owners and each day something different. It was difficult to finish, so much was the food. The room was huge and clean, and the bed was really comfortable.

We stayed at Rener Hotel Los Campones while cycling across Espana Verde. The location is not downtown but convenient for stashing our bikes in the facility so we could walk to dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend Cafeteria La Santina for dinner.

I love more rural areas, the peace and quiet of it all, but...

I love more rural areas, the peace and quiet of it all, but close enough be in town for sight seeing, or other historical sights. Plenty of things to do and explore. The Botanical Gardens, the Cathedral Cultural Center, Gijon downtown and Old Town, Oveida to name a few. I wish we had spent more time there.

….personal recommendations of restaurants and places to visit which were well received. The hotel also catered for dogs, and my little Bella had a great time running round the beautiful garden. We could have stayed much longer as the hotel and Gijon were so nice.

We stayed here on our way from the ferry in Bilbao on our way to Galicia and we definitely chose the best place! This is a beautiful country guesthouse in a quiet rural enclave with spectacular views and a wonderful welcome. Just ten minutes' drive from the centre of Gijon, it offers the best of both worlds - a restful, peaceful country retreat and easy access to the city centre and beaches. Cristina could not have been more attentive and hospitable. The rooms are lovely with real attention to detail from the artisan toiletries to the freshly cut off flowers. We had a garden room that looked out over the gardens and rolling fields and beyond over Gijon. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful, complete with homebaked shortbread! Cristina was also very pet friendly which was much appreciated. We will be back! We highly recommend to anyone staying in Gijon.
