The hotel is 3 stars, and we rested in a 5-star hotel. Great view of the ocean. The hotel itself is located right in the ocean! There is also a view of the southern shore of El Medano. Leaving the hotel, you can visit many cafes, restaurants and the embankment. Sometimes they construct a stage with live music! The hotel itself has a very tasty breakfast and very friendly staff. You will be greeted like beloved relatives, the room will be cleaned qualitatively and provided with a transfer to the hotel and the airport. I recommend it to everyone! P.S. In honor of my birthday they made me a delicious dessert :)

We did an 11-night all-inclusive stay at Barcelo. It was incredible! The food was excellent every day. There was a cuisine theme each evening. Plenty of entertainment opportunities and games were offered to keep guests entertained. I personally chose to sunbathe, use the gym, and sit at one of the three bars where you could get all the drinks you wanted. The staff was incredible - nice, helpful, efficient. The hotel itself is huge. You will get a map on your arrival and then use the hotel app for the first two or three days but then it becomes really easy to navigate. We went to stay at Barcelo in November, and the weather was 25-29 C almost every day.

Beautiful property, but not well-maintained (sofas are all ripped) and most of the facilities dont work as expected. The pool is only heated on request and for a daily fee, needs 3 days notice. hot tub cant be heated at all, fireplace requires you to get your own firewood. Wifi only works in the living room, very weak in the bedrooms and doesnt connect outside. quite a remote area, not much food delivery. need own car or taxis to get around, nothings walkable distance. The water and electricity cut out in the middle of the day, while i was in the shower. The property owners said they would send someone to check within 30mins. No one ever turned up, power resumed after about 40/50mins.

It is a small village 15 minutes (with car) from the closest beaches. The village provides a very peacefull feeling. Most of tourists who are visiting Tenerife are looking for accomodations near the coastal part of the Island so in Charco del Pino most probably you will meet only with local residences so you have the chance to meet with the real Tenerife. The distance from the coast is not a real disadvantage if you will hire a car, the TF1 motorway are only 8-10 minutes from the village
