Very cute arrangement of the apartments. Comfortable beds. The food options were great with lots of variety. One of the best hotel buffets, in my opinion, with vegetarian options too. All-inclusive option also includes soft drinks and beer at the pool bar. Big pool that no one uses. Most of the staff were super friendly.

Costa Calma beach is great, and Playa De Sotavento is well...

Costa Calma beach is great, and Playa De Sotavento is well worth a visit (best time is around high tide) Check on google maps satellite view to see which beaches have sun loungers and parasols to hire and plan accordingly. Probably too hot to plan to stay at any beach all day that doesn't have parasols or you have your own. (We visited in June) Can highly recommend the restaurant L'Aperipizza, and also had lgood food at Fuerte bar. By comparison Beach Bar Horizonte is average at best and very overpriced. For a paella fix, Casa Soraya was decent.

The area is quiet but if you like walking there are lots of nice paths in the area to walk. I found the restaurants especially the Asia restaurant very reasonably priced and the food tasty and plentiful. There is a pizza place behind the petrol station which is great for sit in and take out service. The beach is a lovely walk past two spar shops and is on a hill. There is no toe test required for the sea (early May) and is shallow quite a way out. Lovely picturesque area for a relaxing holiday. Lots of walking so take comfortable shoes.

A sprawling mixture of Hotels and apartment with a few shops, bars & restaurants scattered around the place.. Shops selling holiday junk abound. No town centre, no culture. Quality shops are few & far between Not for me again, sorry

Costa Calma has seen better times - an entire line of bars...

Costa Calma has seen better times - an entire line of bars and outlets between the beach resorts and the outskirts of the village has fallen into disrepair. The resorts along the waterfront are huge and all-inclusive, leaving individual travelers with limited choices for dining out. Costa Calma may work for you if you are heading for a week of all-inclusive. If you are an individual traveler seeking some more genuine experience, I recommend avoiding this place.

The room was very modern and clean.

The room was very modern and clean. They had a bottle of red wine kindly waiting for us on arrival and water in the fridge which was a nice touch. 10 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend!

In my opinion it is a 'hotel based 'resort.

In my opinion it is a 'hotel based 'resort. Some very good quality hotels, many with direct beach access but self catering is a different matter. Not a good selection of restaurants (and quite expensive in comparison to Corralejo and Caleta de Fuste). The bars are in the 2 shopping complexes meaning that you are sitting having a drink upstairs whilst people are wandering around doing their shopping in Spar... Quite bizarre was the fact that in these bars you have to ask for a key for the toilet which is situated downstairs in the shopping precinct!! Beach bars are expensive at 5 euros 50 cents for a beer. Sunbeds 15 euros and set in regimented rows with 'netting' round them to reduce the wind. Good resort if you want to go wind surfing or spend the bulk of your day in the hotel complex but the resort to me seemed characterless.

This was our 7th visit to Costa Calma and the location is excellent - a few minutes walk to the beach and shops. The view from the balcony is superb. The owner met us at the apartment, so no issues with getting the key on arrival. We stayed 10 nights and had everything we needed for our stay, including extra towels and bedding, if required. Kitchen is well equipped for eating in and there are restaurants and cafes a short walk away. Would not hesitate in booking this accommodation again.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The terrace offered stunning space and was perfect for relaxing in the evening. The location was great – quiet, but close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. José was a fantastic host – friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Fuerteventura!

Very well located, only 60m from Costa Calma beach and very close to shops, restaurants and other local facilities. The kitchen is well equipped and it was clean and tidy on arrival. The TV has many satellite channels including English, good for English speakers and which is uncommon, in our experience, in Costa Calma.
