The hotel is 3 stars, and we rested in a 5-star hotel. Great view of the ocean. The hotel itself is located right in the ocean! There is also a view of the southern shore of El Medano. Leaving the hotel, you can visit many cafes, restaurants and the embankment. Sometimes they construct a stage with live music! The hotel itself has a very tasty breakfast and very friendly staff. You will be greeted like beloved relatives, the room will be cleaned qualitatively and provided with a transfer to the hotel and the airport. I recommend it to everyone! P.S. In honor of my birthday they made me a delicious dessert :)

El Medano literally is my home away from

El Medano literally is my home away from Home and I have been visiting this proper Canarian town for the past 33 years, it’s definitely grown bigger in that time but overall it’s still a quiet local beach town perfect to get away from everything and just be. It has wonderful walks local, plenty of bars and restaurants and a very lively events calender.

We love everything about El Medano. all facilities are close by and within walking distance. the beaches are excellent, (especially for children). plenty of restaurants and places to eat and drink. bus services to other locations are available and regular.

Quiet, family friendly area which adds to the quaintness of this town. Much more like traditional Tenerife were life is slower. Lovely little bar next to Hotel El Medano and just up the side hill (50ft) from hotel a wonderful restaurant Brigag or Brises el Medano - that served amazing sea food. A rather windy resort that would suit any sea/wind related sports very well. - A place to visit for the day or weekend.

It’s a great place to stay due to the location and the friendly town with the bus stop only a minutes walk away for getting around the island it’s very quiet and comfortable the small bar next door is excellent we stayed for 3 weeks but could have stayed longer . A special thanks to my host for letting us check out late due to our flight will definitely book again 2/4/2026

We enjoy El Medano as we are pensioners and my husband is...

We enjoy El Medano as we are pensioners and my husband is not very mobile. The whole area is level and the beach is easily accessible on foot, as are restaurants, bars and shops. The town square has really good facilities for young children, a large play area and a further area for football etc. We usually ate locally in the square, our favourite restaurant was The Surf Cafe - they serve the best olives! The water park at Siam Park was a real winner with our grandchildren.

It was one of the best time to explore Tenerife and link with local people. The camper van was well equipped and well maintain, comfortable and spacious to live in. The owner Mick was the nicest and warmest person who makes sure you get the best holidays in Tenerife. We had a ball and wonderful memories. We highly recommend the camper van option to explore the island. And we are planning to came back (searching for flights😜)

Our stay was really great. Perfect location, nice city, few beaches really close. Room was clean and cozy. We had everything we need. Anne was really helpful with everything, super friendly, had nice evening chat with wine with her. We could also use the kitchen if wanted. Basic suplies was free and always ready. Would absolutely choose again when visiting Tenerife in future

Very well and tastefully designed and decorated apartment. The lights in all rooms and on the terrace exceptionally nice. The bed is perfect and also the shower. The living room desk and good WIFI made my remote work week fruitful. Lot of International TV channels which was good. Will definitely be looking at PillowAbroad for my next workation trip to Tenerife.
