I liked Finisterre and also loved Cee.

I liked Finisterre and also loved Cee. My accommodation in Finisterre was exactly what I had needed and anticipated. I was so grateful for Mica at Hotel Longistera. (But my accommodation in Cee was really poor.) I enjoyed the beach. I enjoyed walking to the Lighthouse. I experienced the bars/coffee shops as very inviting.

Lovely small town surrounded by beautiful nature and...

Lovely small town surrounded by beautiful nature and stunning views. All the restaurants I visited were of great quality. As a final of Camino Fisterra, it offers additional value for the pilgrims walking there. You can meet many people on the streets who are perhaps a little stiff but high-spirited after finishing the long journey.

We had just finished the Camino from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela and rented a car for the short drive to Finisterre. Stunning! Totally worth a visit, Hotel Mars de Fisterre was fabulous. We drove to the church and then the lighthouse, simply magnificent. Ate dinner both nights at Hotel El Semaforo de Finisterre. Also did a half day trip to Muxia which was also unique and very special.

Finisterre was a beautiful little village next to the...

Finisterre was a beautiful little village next to the Atlantic Ocean. Gorgeous beaches to explore. We enjoyed our three days there….walking to the lighthouse and other walks on the Camino. It was the perfect place to visit after walking the Camino from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. A relaxing and quiet village.

Finisterre is amazing.

Finisterre is amazing. The Playa de Mar de Fuora is such an incredible homage to God's creation of heaven on Earth. Playa dos Corbeiros is great if you want to swim completely alone. The Iglesia de Maria das Arenas is beautiful and they have a pilgrim mass at 6pm with a lively priest. There are also pre Christian pagan sites in the area which are super worth visiting.

Fisterra is a quaint, small fishing town, with regular daily catches. So near the harbour is does smell of fish but many of the local restaurants have a great reputation for sea food. There are several great places to walk for the day; coastal paths, beaches (Fora, & Arnela) are a good walk (3-6 miles) but really worth it. Stunning scenery.
