It was truly lovely. We loved everything about it. The friendly chickens, the friendly cat and dog, the sheep next door, it was amazing. The courtyard, after a long day of hiking, enjoying cervezas was one of the best things ever. We were hiking the Camino and they offered to pick us up in Lourenza but we did not see the message! Ah well, Buen Camino. Next day Carlos drove us to our next stop on the Camino. I would stay here again, absolutely. Thank you Casa Xaeda for making our Camino so memorable

Off season visit (October), hotel was comfortable and warm, very clean. Staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful.

Our host was wonderful and very accommodating. When we were given the wrong directions for the hotel, he drove out to meet us. The building is beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful. Excellent value!
