During our stay, I very much appreciated the internal design on the house - mostly solid wood, nice dishes in the kitchen (which had all the kitchen ustensils we needed, including a bit of salt and olive oil). The building has very thick walls made of rock so we needed very little of the air conditioning unit, even in the middle of summer - though we were happy to have one, and it did work great to lower the temperature before going to sleep. The apartment had a small balcony with sun protection, which allowed us to use it in the middle of the day as well. What's really special about the property is the big common room in the ground floor, with a huge smoke output that allows making an indoor grill, and cooking on open fire. We also spotted some paella pans in the big kitchen. If you travel with a bigger group that needs more rooms, this will be a great socializing space. Nearby we found a small paved road that went through olive plantations, and had great views on the nearby mountains. It was a great place for evening walks.

The city's lively even in the winter, this stuff is very nice and I felt like at home.

We wish that we could have stayed much longer. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. The apartment was spotlessly clean. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in Europe and North America and I have to say that this was the cleanest and best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had every tool that you need. The bathroom had great soaps and shampoos. Lovely linens and towels. Comfotable beds. There was also a beautiful rooftop terrace which had the best views in the whole town so we enjoyed a lovely sunset. The locations was great with an excellent bakery around the corner and a supermarket within a 5-10 minute walk. We were cycle touring and our hosts provided a secure place to store our bikes. We were very impressed at the beautiful quiet roads in the area so would love to return.
