United StatesThe gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. He not only booked our reservation for dinner but he also booked our taxi for the next morning. He didn't outstanding job. He also packed a picnic breakfast for the next day because we were leaving before the restaurant opened. The customer service was outstanding!

The buffet breakfast was also exceptional! everything you wanted and fresh was there and of course, the outdoor terrace to eat was awesome!

Santa pola is only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport.
Santa pola is only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. It still retains a Spanish feel and a family culture. We always felt safe and it was clean with a nice marina surrounded by bars and restaurants. It is flat so walking is good and the beach is long and wide.

Santa Pola is an excellent base for exploring the whole region by car. It is a very Spanish town with lots of nice restaurants. There are nicer beaches in other resorts and there are nicer beachfronts in other towns. It is close to Alicante Airport.

Santa Pola is just a short 20min journey from Alicante airport. Its a great-sized town for shops and restaurants and very friendly. It is also a perfect spot to explore Tabarca island on one of the numerous ferry companies. Easy to get into Alicante for a day in the city and visiting the old town.

We really enjoyed the sea front and the town.
We really enjoyed the sea front and the town. You can walk from the new bars/cafes on the port side to the old town in 5 minutes. The atmosphere around the place is very family oriented with the side streets full of tables and Spanish families enjoying the food and drinks. There are no obvious Irish bars showing football and no single sex groups on Stag and Hen weekends which for us was a good thing. If you want to experience a bit of real Spain then have a long weekend in Santa Pola.

Santa pola has everything an even if you were on a budget food & drinks are so inexpensive but amazing quality looking forward to are next trip ❤️🇪🇸🕺💃

Only stayed a day - the beachfront harbour area is lovely with lots of options to drink and dine but the beaches were very off-putting - dark grey compacted sand with murky water. I'm a keen swimmer and it takes a lot to put me off but it didn't look good. North of Alicante the beaches are lovely - white, duney sand with crystal clear water.

The terrace and the view from the property was great. I would suggest that a car would be a must as the walk up to the property is very steep. Some Uk travellers might find the town of Santa Pola too "Spanish" but we loved the place. There are some lovely restaraunts, the beaches are well maintained and the port has a mixture of bars and cafes to suit almost everyone. This is NOT Benidorm, hopefully it will stay like that. 20 minutes from the airport and no stag or hen do's to deal with. We had a really nice stay.

Nice clean apartment, in a pleasant area. Less than 10 mins, easy walk, to Grand Playa Santa Pola.
Nice touch of a starter bottle of Washing up liquid, cleaning cloth, tea towels and dish washing sponge, spare bin liner and a detergent pod of the washing machine, all supplied on arrival.
Small issues encountered were resolved very quickly.

Modern, clean, very nice bathrooms, free parking, roof top swimming pool, good breakfast cooked and continental options, good size 5ft bed seemed slightly bigger and location 1 min walk to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Short drive to the Santa Pola harbour for the day trip to turbecca, Elche zoo and Alicante city.

Apartment had everything needed for a wonderful stay- very clean and lots of space for our family of 4. Roof top terrace was class & the open balcony with the sea views for breakfast was excellent...a really enjoyable stay in Santa Pola
