SpainThey say that they have parking but if you get there at the wrong time, you have to park 50-100 meters away so no, they don't really have parking. The room and bathroom are nice and clean but they give you a VERY LITTLE bottle of shel to shower with. It was so small that I couldn't shower myself completely and they have no tooth paste. The price could be better for what they offer.

Coastal town surprisingly unbusy for the beginning of July. Plenty of beaches to chose from with lots of room between people.
Most of essential shops seemed to close at 2 pm. Quite a few restaurants and bars still closed at the beginning of July?

This was, without doubt, the best place I have ever stayed.
This was, without doubt, the best place I have ever stayed. I never understood why people would return to the same holiday spot year after year but now I completely get it. After spending 9 days here, I could easily come back a million times.
The location is unbeatable, less than a minute’s walk to the beach, with restaurants, shops, and everything you need within easy walking distance. No car required, which I loved. The area is peaceful, with very few tourists, and there’s an amazing rooftop pool that’s spotless and easy to use thanks to clear, simple rules.
The apartment itself was immaculate. So clean and spacious, with everything you could possibly need. The host’s sister met us with the keys and was incredibly warm and welcoming. When we misplaced a key (entirely our fault), the host could not have been kinder or more understanding. She reassured us immediately, responded quickly, and even arranged for her sister and father to drive a long distance late at night to sort everything out. They were all so friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like nothing was too much trouble and this was so appreciated as many people would have had a very negative reaction and been quiet horrible but they all remained too friendly!
Communication was excellent from start to finish, including a smooth and punctual checkout. Everything here was absolute perfection - there’s honestly nothing I would change. Part of me wants to tell everyone about this hidden gem, but another part wants to keep it my little secret because I know I’ll be coming back again and again.

We went for Murcia Air Show which was packed with hundreds and thousands of people. They next day was lovely and quiet and the area has a lovely traffic free promenade with statues and features relating to aircraft as it is next to the Spanish Air Force training airport in San Javier. Many lovely reasonably priced restaurants and a marina. Lovely sandy beach with easy access to the Mar Menor sea which was very warm but has some seaweed in it therefore a little murky.

Santiago de la Ribera is quite a traditional old Spanish...
Santiago de la Ribera is quite a traditional old Spanish holiday resort. Perfect for us because we speak Spanish and like to immerse ourselves into the Spanish way of life, but I'm not sure it would be every British persons cup of tea. There are no Brit bars there at all, so you need to travel a few kms up or down the coast to the other local resorts. Although very basic English is spoken in the bars/restaurants close to the sea front, when you move a little further away English is less and even more basic.

Fabulous quaint beach town. Extremely clean. They machine groom the beach every morning. Lots of Cafes/Pastry Shops, bars, Restaurants with excellent food and wines. The streets are very safe with constant security patrol, even late at night and they all have side walks. Fairly small town but with all the amenities we enjoy. The beachwalk is very wide and they even have a market selling artisanal products created locally. Truly a place to visit.

Lovely Spanish seaside resort on Mar Menor fantastic Tapas bars chiringuitos on the beach. My wife loved the little boutiques up the side streets. Good Indian restaurant if you fancy an Indian must have been good if locals were eating at it, also one solitary English bar the dog and duck if you want a good English breakfast or your Friday fish and chips. Ribera is only 50 mins from where we live on the Costa Blanca so visit for days out when the family is over other than that we are in Ribera at least 2 times a year for a minimum 7 days stay, in fact, booked for Sept for 14 days at Hotel Lido.

Beautiful apartment, well looked after, spacious and has everything you need.
Very clean.
Staff member who greeted us was very helpful and friendly.
Location ideal, near restaurants, beach and supermarkets.
Right next to a taxi stop and always taxis waiting, bus stop just down the road.

Fantastic villa, lots of space, well stocked kitchen, good pool, great outdoor spaces. Good location, 15 mins walk to sea front and main town. A bar and 2 supermarkets very close. Lovely quiet and very safe area with a park round the corner.

Friendly welcome to the hotel. 24hr reception where you can purchase any drinks you may need. Great location near the beach with many bars and restaurants within a short walk. Room clean with a fridge and decent size bathroom.
