The staff are very kind and helpful, even helping me to get a birthday cake for my daughter in law. We felt very welcome and a bonus was that the main pool was heated so I was able to swim each day! The train station is super convenient and it's great that...
The train station is super convenient and it's great that it's also so close to the beach. There are multiple solid restaurants and bars including Bar Franny and El Emperador. There are a couple grocery stores in walking distance from the center, and there is a centrally-located bus stop. The beach is really nice, especially at night in the summer, when there are many activities for kids and adults alike, as well as nice restaurants along the path on the beach (paseo maritimo).

It was nice and quiet. Seems it is not a season. Not many people only a few on the beach. We visited a few shops and restaurants, the people were friendly, Beach was very nice and sandy. Lifeguards are probably on duty during the season

The place is beautiful. The Apartment 3000 is awfull.
The place is beautiful. The Apartment 3000 is awfull. Poor customer service and rude. They stole the money from my credit card. They did not inform me or asked me for a permission. They did it after I left the country, though they had sent me an email earlier informing me that my deposit money was released. They are svindler and their apartments are not safe for families. DO NOT STAY IN THIER APARTMENTS. We had to check out and book another hotel. They even threated us and ask that we must give them cash, which we didn't have and we didn't know why we should them money for. Sending stranger men to come and get money from us. We felt intimidated and threatened. We had to escape to a safer place.

The beach and the sea view are simply wonderful, but there is not much to do there. The city looks like an old people's home, no offense to our lovely seniors ;)
I must admit that it's a quite safe place to stay.

The town itself mainly caters to Spanish tourists.
The town itself mainly caters to Spanish tourists. English is not very widely spoken. There are a few restaurants and shops in the town center and more on the beach boulevard. It's a quick hop to Calafell Platja which has a larger pedestrian zone and a gorgeous beach.
Segur de Calafell is ideal for visiting other places on the coast, e.g. Tarragona (45 mins) , Sitges (25 mins) and Barcelona (50 mins) by car.

The location was really good, exactly what we wanted for our travel. We was with car so wasn't a problem to drive to supermarket.
The town is nice and it has enough parking.
The pool really cool and you may swim till 22:00 o'clock. Kids and I enjoy there a lot.
Yes there are some ants and other inspects, but it's notmal for hot weather, for us it wasn't a deal.
I recommend to stay in this town and enjoy costa dorada and all attractions nearby!!!

The owner/host of this hotel is a prime example of a perfect host. Yes, a few things went horribly wrong, but he managed to solve all these problems perfectly. Accidents happen, it's how you solve the problem that matters most. And he did an excellent job.
The hotel itself is nice and clean. It has spacious rooms and it's close to the railway station.
Highly recommended, thank you, will visit again.
