I loved staying in Pajara, which is an authentic, historic Majorero town without the maddening tourist hordes. Without a car, I also used Pajara as a base to hike up to the spectacular Miradors on FV-30, as well as to lovely Toto. This property is conveniently-located on the edge of this small town in a quiet location, ultra-modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The host Ruth is fantastic: communicative (in English), warm, helpful; she went out of her way to help me with an unexpected, emergency situation by enlisting the help of her family member, very quickly I may add.

Certainly if looking to explore the island you need a...

Certainly if looking to explore the island you need a vehicle as the villa is remote. That said buses run from the village north and south and also to the airport… we used the local supermarket in Antigua which has everything you need. If looking for a truly relaxing break then this villa is a must… the host Inma went the extra mile helping out with questions prior to visit and on our arrival. The villa is situated in an ideal position on the island to explore north/south east and west.

Modern house, beautifully decorated and clean. Very comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. Spacious garden, barbeque and jacuzzi. Jacuzzi works on a pay system, so make sure you ask the owner about it, you will need some coins ready and maybe even organize a pre-heating if possible, so you can use it from the start of your stay. The house is in a small town in the centre of the island, very peaceful, perfect to rest and enjoy some quiet time. There is a nice bakery and a local bar near. The owner is really kind and helpful
