The hoteliers were very nice and welcoming. The hotel is excellent and food in the restaurant was perfect. We went early Feb and while cold outside the rooms were heated and very comfortable.

The location, room, service and breakfast were excellent. The room was much larger than expected and was very modern. The shower was excellent and both the handheld wand and a rain shower head. I would stay at this hotel again. The staff accommodated an early breakfast for me so that I could start my hike earlier.

Casa Palacio Irigoienea is in Urdax, 5 minutes’ drive from the French border. It is a converted 18th-century country house with free Wi-Fi and a porch overlooking a large garden.
